Another sunny day here, there had been a light shower overnight but going by the ground nothing of note.

Glad to see you are getting out and about independently Brambling, just be careful getting in and out of the car.

The gammon steak I had the other day was huge and I only managed to eat half of it. I used the rest in a pot of pea & ham soup, a bowl of which was had for lunch.

Defrosted a very large chicken breast this morning, I’ll get it in the marinade shortly to make the Senegalese chicken curry tonight.

I'm not doing much at the moment and my sister is taken me to my hospital appointment on Tuesday.  Getting in and out is still a slow process 🙂

it's been a gray day and definitely has the feel of autumn is on its way with the rain yesterday bringing down some leaves.

Cheese and coleslaw sandwich for lunch with a tomato salad.

A spicy pork mince, pepper and mushroom concoction for dinner with noodles

    Good morning everyone,
Mixed sunshine and showers here today but the wind has died back.
Hope you enjoyed the Sengalese chicken as much as I did N2BT.
Have just reported an item to ebay after receiving a counterfeit book and seller is playing silly beggars over refund. It not a huge amount but it's the principle!
I've physio at lunchtime, I'm not looking forward to the session but I'm really hoping it gives me some relief.
LO chicken with salad for lunch. Tonight's a bit of an experiment. A few weeks ago I froze a chicken, courgette, red curry paste mix after using half to make burgers. Tonight I'm turning them into meatballs to have in a Thai red curry sauce with veg and rice.

Sunny start but now showers have arrived, which is a pity because I was hoping to pick the last of my early apples later.
I'll just stew those I've already picked so far.

Lunch, scrambled eggs on toast, maybe
Dinner, use up last frozen Pukka pie, with LO mash

It’s as if someone has flicked a switch indicating the start of autumn; its cooler, very grey and windy with the odd shower  :(

I really enjoyed the chicken Caronc, it wasn't too spicy as I didn't use the whole chilli. I loved the flavour of the mustard and lime together, although not a combination I would have thought of using.

Meals are a repeat of yesterday   B)

    L - pea & ham soup

    D - senegalese chicken curry

It does feel autumnal here too. It is raining again. I might cook for two tonight as I fancy a hot dinner with this weather. I'm going to have veggie sausages, baked potatoes and Heinz beans as I didn't have beans for breakfast in the end. :)

First day of back to reality. Sunshine and showers but felt really cold so heating went on low for a bit, which also helped with first load of washing (didn’t have the energy for the washing line Hokey Cokey today 😂)

CFO has been simple from what I had in - beans with toast for lunch and pasta with pesto, tuna, green beans and peas. May get more creative as the week goes on but we’ll see 🙃

I hope you had a good holiday JKS

A wet day here again, that strange weather when the sun is shine as it rains heavily but no rainbows 🌈
my sister said I'm not allowed to say autumn is on its way but I agree it does have that feel.

Corned beef and coleslaw sandwich for lunch.  I was feeling hungry tonight so had a bowl of cereal and a apple for dinner
