Dull & rainy, very Autumnal this morning, with wet & bedraggled gardencaronc said:Ended up reporting seller to ebay and let them know I had which prompted them finally to refund. I'm now getting asked to remove my feedback which I'm not going to, if they don't want negative feedback they shouldn't sell counterfeit items!I did once have to get Amazon involved on a delayed item & refunding, but that was linked with the Suez Canal being blocked a year or more ago.I picked a carrier bag full of apples from the garden yesterday, so a lot of stewing for freezing to be done in the coming days. They are not good keepers, unfortunately.Made overnight loaf in BM, ready for lunchHad posh fish F for breakfast, fancied something warmLunch, salad sarnie, but seeing Brambling post now have Corned Beef urgesDinner, defrosting LO roast pork, which I'll bung in One Pot on pressure as sort of stew thingNumerus non sum1

Back to summer sunshine here, although your sister may be right Brambling, the leaves are still green albeit a very dull green and the sycamore “helicopters” haven't fallen yet.
This morning’s plans went completely awry, the bus was only 4mins late when I got on it but ended up 30mins late by the time I got to my destination - didn't get half of what I wanted done
Sardines on toast for lunch.
Courgette, mushroom and ham frittata tonight with a tomato salad

I had reiki with a new person today. It tired me out as usual and I had a two hour nap again.
All I have had today is a sandwich and some fresh fruit so I want a big dinner. It felt like the temps had dropped when I woke up and it is raining.2025 GOALS

Lovely sunny day here so didn’t feel nearly as cold. Got a load of washing dried on the line along with finishing off the load from yesterday that had been on the airer due to rain starting as the washer finished 🙄
Scrambled eggs on toast for lunch. Sausage and spinach gnocchi tonight 😋1 -

Typically as I had a hair appointment lunch time it rained hard most of the day. My hair dressers is in a alleyway opposite a good fish and chip shop, in fact you could come out of the hairdressers and walk two steps into the chippy, I resisted the young girl beckoning me in when I lingered outside the door at 1.30pm and came home without F & Cs 🙁
My sister took me for my hospital appointment later in the afternoon, there was a lot of surface water driving through the Ashdown forest and some very heavy rain storms. I was glad she was driving. I'm signed off by the consultant unless I have problems, I just need to keep up with the exercises and I can up my walking to a mile a day. It's still a work in progress but I'm told I can try putting my underwear on without the grabber (sorry if TMI) 😁
lunch a repeat of yesterday's corned beef and coleslaw sandwich. LO spicy mince with rice for dinner

Brambling - sorry, if I asked you this before, but how long did you have to wait for your operation on the NHS? I worry about needing a hip operation as my father and grandmother both had to have one. My dad was only around 60 when he had his surgery and I will be 50 next year. I was saying that to my school friend that I'm seeing this weekend as she has MS and needs a scooter now to go anywhere. I want to make sure I have the cash to go private if I need a hip replacement as walking is about the only exercise I get!
I have an appointment this morning and I'm having crackers and cheese at the moment. I might try a cafe in the centre for lunch as I haven't tried it before.2025 GOALS

Good morning everyone,
Glad you had a good holiday JKS.
Sounds as though you are making good progress Brambling.
I've used ebay a fair bit over the years Farway and never had any problems, like everything the odd issue has arose but has always been quickly resolved. This seller turned out to be a complete chancer and ebay have upheld my report and removed them.
Grey, cool and tipping it down here just now and it's forecast to be like that all day. I'm glad I don't need to go anywhere and DS2 will do the bin run when he's walking Hector later.
I wasn't overly enthused with the bung in green pasta last night, It tasted good felt there was too much sauce which made it a bit claggy rather than the light dish I was aiming for. On the other hand DS2 really enjoyed it and has earmarked the LOs for his lunch.
Fridge bits for lunch and tonight I'm making this soup Turkish Lentil Soup (Mercimek Çorbası) | The Mediterranean Dish which we'll have with Deli Kitchen Persian style flatbreads.1 -
Not such a nice day here, a bit grey and wet.
It's one of those uninspiring kind of days when I’m not doing very much more than the needful, oh and a bit of ironing
L - ham & tomato sandwich
