I'm envious of your 12 hours sleep Wednesday I never managed that before my operation, I blame the menopause!I can sympathise re the legs Caronc mine are better than they were, just below the knees now.
we had rain first thing but the benefits were soon removed by the hour of sunshine followed by a breezy day. Most of the day has been pleasantly cool and a little overcast. My sister brought my washing around this evening and a loaf of bread, minus two slices her granddaughter stole for a sandwich, I was given some blackberry jam in payment 😁
Falafel and salad wrap for lunch. I chipped in the AF some LO new potatoes for dinner and had with some breaded fish and vegetablesLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1 -
Can’t remember the last time I slept for 12 hours!
Just a day here, no dramas but the day seemed to go quickly doing various bits and bobs. Enjoyed my swim after work.
Avocado and scrambled eggs on toasted bagel for lunch. Made Nigella’s Spanish chicken tonight, served with green salad. There’s LO chicken, chorizo, potatoes and onion to create something with later in the week 😂1 -
Definitely a lot cooler in this neck of the woods, last night was the first night in a couple of months that I’ve slept under the summer duvet instead of on top.
The fruitbowl needs a bit of attention so for lunch today I’ll be picking at grapes and blue cheese as well as a banana.
Dinner tonight is baharat spiced turkey meatballs, salad and the last of the couscous.

Good morning everyone,
A lot cooler and very overcast here today.
After a couple of days of feeling not quite myself which I put down to heat I've got up this morning with a claggy throat, headache and snotty nose so think there has been a lurgy working on me. I'm not horribly unwell but suspect a nap is on the cards this afternoon.
Cheese, rice cakes and the last of the HM coleslaw for lunch. Good old spag bol tonight using ragu from the freezer.0 -
I am having physical therapy, a talking therapy and reiki at the moment and I have had 12 hours sleep a few times. I don't normally at all as I have suffered from insomnia for decades with my husband doing shifts so something must be working. I think my body is trying to catch up with the sleep it lost over the years!
I had a quick sandwich before my class this morning and during my class thought that I am craving a hot cup of builder's tea for some reason. I made one when I got home and had it with a bar of pistachio chocolate I saw in a health food shop. It is meant to be like the Dubai chocolate people keep mentioning. It seems to have warmed up here again.2025 GOALS
