Not very helpful advice Brambling I'd be inclined to speak to the GP, food-wise your M&S dinner sounds lovely hope it tasted as good.
The temp has dropped again and its quite breezy, sadly there is a storm coming at the beginning of next week not looking forward to that
Cold meat salad for lunch.

It feels noticeably cooler today. I had a class last night and I have another one today. I am almost hitting my target of 25 classes in 2025.
I just had my normal toast and flora. I have cauliflower and carrots that need using up so I might make a roast dinner this weekend as the carton of gravy needs to be used up by September too. I fancy pasta for lunch.

Quiet catch up work day, which was welcome after a full on week. Finished on time and went off for a swim followed by a trip to Lidl to use a £5 off voucher and stock up on Greek week bits 😋
Used up half an avocado with scrambled eggs on a toasted bagel for lunch. Made my quick and easy sausage and spinach gnocchi tonight, plus 🍷
Happy weekend!1 -

My sister and a friend spent a good chunk of the day here, so putting them to good use they helped to sort my kitchen cupboards (well I sat and supervised saying keep or rehome) and my sister tackled the high up stuff I've been unable to do 🙂
I did do the lunch 🙂 ciabatta rolls, smoked salmon, cream cheese, salad, hummus and tortilla chips, followed by strawberries, meringue nests and Greek yoghurt
Just a ham sandwich for dinner

I was so tired after my class last night that I didn't have any dinner. I just had a shower and got into bed. I'm quite hungry today so I'm going to take some frozen fruit out of the freezer to defrost for a smoothie and will also have baked beans on toast.
I felt much colder yesterday at home. I had to go and put socks on and a cardigan and put a blanket over my lap.2025 GOALS

Good morning everyone,
I'll join you in the iffy back club Farway, mine's complaining so I'm glad I have my physio appointment on Monday.
Trying to be sunny here.
Bit the bullet yesterday and bought a Shark handheld hoover, with a constant stream of pooches I'm for ever brushing up or lugging out Henry. I'm hoping this will make things easier to keep on top of.
I'd popped a punnet of cress in my Tesco order so looking forward to an egg and cress sandwich for lunch.Meliz Berg's chicken flatbreads for dinner.

I hope those with the poorly backs see an improvement soon, I know your pain having suffered in the past.
Last piece of the tuna quiche from the freezer for lunch, there's one piece of the broccoli & stilton left in there so I'll need to plan some baking soon.
The flatbread idea is catching, I've pulled the last one from the freezer and will do a pizza using the l/o peperonata, some capers & olives for my dinner tonight.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

I hope both your backs are not too painful.
I'm definitely out of sync as I was up at 5am again 🥱 it's sleeping on my back! As long as his lordship doesn't get used to breakfast and being let out that early. So hobbit like I had two breakfasts cereal at 5am and beans on toast at 10. I brought some M&S bake beans via Ocardo their small tins are only 30p and I would buy again definitely didn't taste like cheap beans and one of those rare occurrences when a small tin was half the price of the large and not a lot more expensive per gram.It was one of those days I managed to wash the bathroom floor washing my hair 🫣 and had to stay out of it until it dried I was dropped his lordships food dish due to grabber misuse! Luckily it was a metal bowl but what he didn't eat off the floor had to stay until my sister came around this evening I used an old long handle brush to push to it one side. I did try and go to bed late morning to rest my legs which to be honest only lasted about 45mins as lying flat in bed meant I couldn't read and I didn't need a nap, that happen in the chair this afternoon!
I had an afternoon snack of an apple with cheese rather than lunch to put me back on track food wise. Dinner was a M&S steak pie with chips and peasLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1
