Another work day that flew by! Turned into a nice day, sunny and a bit breezy, got a load of bedding dry 🙃

LO potatoes, peppers and tomatoes from last night with feta for lunch. Made broccoli and anchovy pasta tonight. It wasn’t worth leaving the pasta that was left in the storage jar so cooked it all, meaning there’s a small portion LO for tomorrow’s lunch.

Lunch, not starving, I have some HM banana loaf so slice of that
Dinner, I've LO boiled new spuds & some mushrooms, and Asda due tomorrow, a chuck it in omelette sounds like just the job

    Good morning everyone,
It rained heavily overnight but seems to be drying up now.
With the recent spells of heavy rain and wind interspersed with hot weather my petunias are looking pretty bedraggled and yellowing. I think it's time they went, such a short season this year! I might get some autumn pansies so there's still some colour in the garden. Green house is doing okay, I've had a good few cues and quite a few cherry toms. My mint and sage have been ravaged by caterpillars but I think both will recover okay.
Lunch with my friend's yesterday was lovely, we had such a good catch up and the food was very good. I had a mozzarella, tomato and pesto toastie.
Home alone with Hector until this evening as DS2 has gone to Newcastle. Fridge bits for lunch and tonight I'm making chicken tikka masala. We'll have that with rice, salad and naan. I'll get the chicken marinating in yoghurt and spices shortly ready to bake later  and I'm cheating and using a bought curry sauce to go with it so a nice and easy one. :)

I bought a pineapple and coconut smoothie while I was out as I didn't have time to make breakfast before my class. I just made a cheese, tomato and mayo sandwich when I got home.

Slightly cooler again which suits me fine, but I think the temp due to pick up tomorrow.

Catching up on a bit of admin and bill paying as well as checking out bus timetables for trips I fancy when the schools are back in 3 weeks time.

Lunch today was seafood sticks salad again with a lime & seafood sauce dressing.

I found some lamb kofta's in the freezer so I will have them tonight with some roasted peppers, flat bread and tahini sauce.

Nearly popped round for my tea, N2BT, sounds yummy 😋

Is it really only Tuesday? Busy but productive day, lots of annoying half done tasks finished so that’s good.

Lunch was the previously advertised LO broccoli and anchovy pasta. Been for a swim this evening and then made prawn, sugar snap and yellow pepper egg fried rice.

Hi guys still hobbling around unfortunately with water retention think tree trunk rather than leg 🫣 I've an appointment with nurse tomorrow at GPs to check and change the dressing so I'll see if they have any advice. I'm really appreciating the cooler temperature.

My sister's neighbours offered their downstairs shower room today complete with his mums old shower seat (which I didn't need but was appreciated) they even went out so I would feel more comfortable 🙂 so a lovely long shower and proper hair wash. I've avoided the seat over my bath as I'm not convinced I won't end up like a turtle stuck on my back in the bottom of the bath 😁

I'm back to CFO but tbh had a sandwich for lunch and toast for dinner, don't tell my family 🤐 I did have a Ocardo delivery this afternoon and the lovely driver put it in my dining room table and offered to pop the frozen in the freezer so I've plenty of easy dinners just cba tonight

    Good morning everyone,
Hopefully the nurse will be able to help with the swelling Brambling.
Gloomy but dry here. I'm hoping any rain holds off until this afternoon as I need to run an errand in town and DS2 has kindly offered to run at lunch time.
Cheese and LO salad for lunch. Family here for dinner I'm making roasted chicken thighs, this salad Balela Salad (Mediterranean Chickpea Salad) that I saw on another thread, corn cobs and Ayrshire tatties.

I prefer the cooler temperatures too.

I have had a chai latte so far today. I will have some toast before I go out.

Asda delivery this morning, I sent the 3 subs back because they's subbed diet for my normal, sometime they sub deluxe for normal, but not this time  :(
I find diet just not the same to my taste, like veggie salmon.

Hope the legs go down Brambling, can't discuss medical, but I have prescription tablets.

Lunch, not starving, so slice of HM bread & Dairylea cheese spread
Dinner, TBD due to lack of appetite right now
