Shame about the leg problem Brambling hopefully it gets sorted out quickly.
It feels warmer although we do have quite a bit of cloud overhead, but it is dry
Lunch is the last of the seafood sticks (hooray) in a pasta salad this time.

End result I grazed a bit on bread, cheese, fruit and nuts, now I'll have a couple of scotch pancakes & raspberry jam with my cuppa...yumFree thinker.:cool:2 -
Lovely day here once the sun came out, shame there was no washing to hang out 😂
Finally used the cumin roasted carrots at lunchtime, with tomatoey lentils, rocket, feta and walnuts. Also packed a portion in a lunchbox for tomorrow.
Made a batch of the lemon and caper dressing tonight and had some with chargrilled courgette and salmon salad.0 -
Dull & mild, rain expected, but that sometimes never appears or skirts around me.I'd like some for the garden, especially as my back is playing up again and carrying a watering can is a tad painful.Picked a couple of figs and a cucumber, I'll use in my Ploughman style lunchDinner, pork loin and probably salad bitsEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1

Good morning everyone,
Cloudy but dry here. Didn't manage to nip into town yesterday so must try to do so today.
There's some chicken and salad LO from last night so that will be lunch covered.
I've defrosted some sausages for dinner to make either and oven bung in or pasta, I'll decide later. We have Frank and Ari today so it's all go!

Went to meet a friend in the City and have a browse around the "mini" well known Swedish store, its mostly a collection point but they do have some displays and stuff for sale, happy I got what I needed.
Had coffee and cake with my friend so only required a small salad sandwich for lunch when I got home.
Purposely made extra boiled rice last night so that I could do a vegetable & prawn fried rice for dinner tonight.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Office day today, was fairly quiet but caught up with a few people and got lots done 🙃
Lunch was the roast carrot and lentil salad. Used the remaining half courgette in an orzo risotto tonight, served with a pork steak and some of the lemon and caper dressing 😋1 -
Not sure if you got the rain Farway, I think we had enough for both counties along with thunder this afternoon.Taking the opportunity to get some outstanding jobs sorted I called a couple of local double glazing companies today, I want my dining room window replaced with French doors (I got quotes March 2020 and parked it!) I've also realised that all my back windows are in need of replacing I think when I moved in 2005 they were about 15 years old and I only replaced the front original 1966 single glazed ones. One company was around the corner working and he came in his lunch to look and measure, he will send be a quote next week and the second can't come out until the 8th. Both are highly recommended local companies who have been in town decades so it will come down to costs. The nurse advice on water retention in legs were keep ankles above heart, which means staying in bed which is against hospital advice for hip! So it's a little walking, physio exercises and legs up. On a positive note she was impressed by my scar, said the best incision she's seen and it didn't need a new dressing, disposable stitches. I can't take credit for the scar 😁Scrambled egg on toast for lunch. Good morning everyone,
Dry and trying to be sunny here.
My sis is due to collect Ari soon so while I'm waiting for her arrive I've being doing some money shuffling.
I've promised her lunch, probably a BLT as she usually picks that if offered,
Tesco due later but apart from that no plans. Usual Friday tbc for dinner.0
