It rained early this morning, when I left home at 10.30am to drive the two miles into town it was dry at home but there was heavy rain between home and town, the water was running down the road but I would see the blue skies over the town as I drove down.  I carried my waterproof around town I had a hair appointment and half expected it to be raining when I came out.

Quick trip around M&S with everything in my bag YS 😁 50% off berries and three RMs half price which I popped into the freezer and some crumpets. Considering it was only midday I was surprised at the half price YSs In fact the only item full price was some painkillers.  I did pick up some books in the CS I didn't appreciate carrying the extra weight of four to the car but all by authors I like.

well done on getting your cholesterol down so quickly Wednesday and on losing the weight

crumpets with cheese and tomato for lunch.  I cooked a couple of lurking posh dog sausages from the freezer and had wth sweet potato chips and green veg.

My sister popped around just after dinner so I'm just fininishing watching sewing bee 🐝 before bed

    Good morning everyone,
    Great results Wednesday!
Dry here, though how long for remains to be seen as the sky is very dark.
The shepherd's pie was much enjoyed yesterday. Apart from a small tub of gravy, which I'll freeze,  there's no LOs. Lurking bits in the fridge are more or less finished, just some roast veg to use up which I'll have in a wrap with hummus for lunch. Roasted chicken legs tonight, sides tbc.

    Thanks.  :)

I didn't have the curry last night as the sauce didn't defrost so I will have it tonight instead.

I just had the flooring man round to do us a quote. I'm about to make a smoothie and have a roll with Flora and Marmite as I ran out of bread.

Wind's gone and sun back out, another warm day but at least I had a decent night's sleep for once

Asda delivery arrived, a couple of OK subs.
I checked the BB dates as it was unpacked this time, last time I found a lot only had a day or so left when I checked while putting them away.
Of course, checking as unloading on door step takes more time, and all were well in date. S0ds Law !

    Lunch, BLT sarnie
Dinner, pork loin + salad bits

Well done Wednesday, you've done so well.

Back to a temp and freshness in the air that I'm much happier with so caught up on more chores that I had avoided due to the heat; put some washing on the line too - cant beat a crispy towel for exfoliating the body after a shower  :D

Some lamb leftover from last night so had it for lunch with pomegranate seeds, salad and a drizzle of pomegranate molasses.

Chunky fish fingers tonight with broccoli in a cheese sauce and some peas.

I missed last nights episode of Ch5 drama "Insomnia" so will catch-up this afternoon before the final episode tonight - been really good if you haven't been watching would recommend.

Catch up day today, got a few bits crossed off the list plus a couple of useful meetings 🙃

Bit more quiche with salad and the end of the coleslaw for lunch. Was going to go out for some fresh air and exercise but not sure where the time went, I did do some washing up! Managed a nice walk at the end of the day instead.

    Broccoli and anchovy pasta tonight.

My operation is tomorrow so I've been getting organised today, I got a couple of loads of washing washed and dried including bedding so I can come home to a clean bed. I have to be at the hospital just after 7am so it's early start, hopefully it will mean an early operation so no hanging around waiting. I tweaked my Ocardo delivery after popping to M&S yesterday but managed to get it above the £40, he was 10 minutes early and no subs.

I used up bacon and eggs lunch time and had breakfast for lunch.

I need to eat before going to bed as it's only water after 2.30am but I have been hungry, I think it maybe toast or a sandwich as there was a loaf in the delivery.

Up early, unable to sleep again. Still dull & warm, but not as bad as it has been.

Good luck with op Brambling, I expect it's all over by the time you read this

Volunteer meeting this afternoon so nothing time-consuming for meals

    Lunch, pate ploughman's.
Dinner, boil in bag kippers & nuked LO mash + frozen peas

    Good morning everyone,
I hope op goes well Brambling
Apart from a couple of short, sharp showers the rain held off yesterday and got quite warm. Today is looking more mixed and it's feeling quite humid and thundery. I think I'll do the bins and water the greenhouse once I've finished my cuppa while it's still dry.
Today I need to catch up on some personal admin, finalise my Tesco order and do some ironing. I'm also trying to motivate myself to declutter my bedroom by doing 15 minutes every day, I'm always surprised how much you can do in a short time.
LO chicken and coleslaw with salad for lunch. There's keema defrosting for dinner which we'll have with rice and raita .
