justkeepswimmimg said:Glad you enjoyed it, I used an ordinary courgette too. The dressing is so good, might make it to have with other things. You’ve reminded me about those burgers, which have been on my to make list for ages, just need a carrot…I had that same idea JKS, thinking it would go well with pan fried salmon, tuna steak, chicken or turkey breast.
Glad to hear you are home Brambling, His Lordship will just have to sulk, cats are notorious trip hazards
Overcast and wet here so ideal for catching up on indoor chores - much need opportunity to clean the windows.
Lunch is feta, watermelon and pomegranate salad.
As there were three courgettes in the pack I bought I'll use another one tonight with this recipe Sausage & herb stuffed courgettes recipe | Good Food Served with new potatoes and ss peas.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Good morning everyone,
Glad you are home Brambling and being well cared for.
Some scrumptious sounding food being eaten.
Frank goes home today, it's been nice having him but he's a lot of dog so it will also be nice to have relative calm restored! Weather is still stormy and balance wonky so another day of gentle pottering on the cards.
Fridge bits for lunch. Yoghurt chicken curry tonight with rice, naan and salad.0 -
Nice to see you back Brambling.
I haven't eaten yet as the window cleaner is here and he is taking ages and I'm shut in a room trying to distract my dog so she doesn't bark at him!
I have two leftover veggie sauasge rolls so they will be devoured as soon as he leaves.

Glad all’s well Brambling, hope you find your appetite while you still have the services of a personal chef!
In the office today so out fairly early, traffic much easier due to school holidays. I was organised yesterday and made a couscous salad with green beans, sun dried tomatoes, olives, feta and walnuts to take for lunch. Also took some strawberries which were delicious 😋
Tonight I made egg fried rice with baby corn, mange tout and the second Chinese pork steak I cooked yesterday.0 -
Pleasantly cool Goldilocks day, not too hot or cold, with a cloudy but bright skyGrappling with the redesigned Asda online shop, basket keeps emptying, then returns.I think I'll start a Plan B list, W8rose, just in case it really gets on my nervesLunch, BLT sarnieDinner, posh steak, eggs, AF chips & mushroomsEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Good morning everyone,
Dry but muggy and gloomy here today.
My sis is coming over for a picky bits lunch rather than us doing dinner tonight. The only thing I need to "make" is some salad to go with the cheese and pate so a nice easy one.
Admin to crack on with after lunch and tonight it's JO's gingery, garlicky beef mince with steamed veg and rice.0 -
Very muggy here too although thundery showers are forecast for this afternoon, I'm crossing everything in the hope that clears the air a bit.
Pizza for lunch using a small flatbread, pasta sauce, anchovies, olives and cheese.

I had an appointment this morning, but I managed to avoid the rain as it just drizzled. I had a nap when I got home. I have had a milkshake, some crackers and a lovely orange, but I need some proper lunch!
We had hailstones and a thunderstorm here yesterday. It didn't last very long at all.2025 GOALS

It didn’t actually rain here despite the forecast and turned into a lovely afternoon, glad I chanced a couple of wash loads 🙃
Posh fishfinger sandwich (in a brioche bun, get me) for lunch. Made it to swimming after work and then had salmon, salad and new potatoes for tea, used some ready made salad dressing bought for a visitor, it’s ok but prefer HM ones.
