Good buy on the spuds PN, hope the dental work went okay?

I didn't expect to eat, but I did buy some choccy biscuits while out, so already managed four biscuits... still a little "fuzziness" in the injected area, but it's nearly all gone now.0 -
A good, caring dentist is worth their weight in gold PN, glad all went ok x0

:T:T: or should that be:D
I gave the cat some of my chicken and I had a cheese ciabatta roll instead, real cba. I could hear my mums voice saying 'you can't eat cheese this late you'll have a bilious attack' it was years before I realised what that was, never had one as a teenager hopefully tonight won't be the first one :rotfl:Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
I ended the day with a banana, so today's total food's been:
Pie/chips
4 choccy biscuits
1 banana.
If you count the calories, I bet that's practically a diet!0 -
Well, last night was another CFO evening, as hubby was not well and went to bed without any dinner, so I cooked myself a spag bol and have leftovers for lunch today. I had to bribe the cat with a bit of cheese in his bowl to get him to come out of the living room when I was ready to eat though.0

I've been busy again this morning and have just had a banana, a lemon Nakd bar and a bottle of water.
A bad start to the day with an emergency trip to the vet, hopefully it is just a bad reaction to the jab he had yesterday but he could hardy move his back legs and was in a lot of pain. He came to me with a wariness of men and the male vet unfortunately hurt him whilst examining him (it couldn’t be helped). The poor cat was so terrified he was too scared to move, and I was stressed enough by the time I got home to need my inhale! Luckily, I have a boss who doesn’t react to texts saying ‘cat emergency I may be in but it will be late’.
I hope the cat is okay!PasturesNew wrote: »I grew up with genuine dental fear, after an early traumatic and abusive event... so when I found the last one and he was good/kind I daren't change (but he was 200 miles away) .... but I just made the move and this new bloke's even better! It took longer than I expected and I wasn't familiar with his tools/methods, but he injected even better (didn't feel a thing, even though he did a 3rd/deeper to be sure) .... and the end result was more comfortable as I walked away.

That's good. I went to a new hygienist and dentist last year and was surprised how good they both were. Very gentle and considerate.0 -
Good morning everyone,
What a difference in the weather it's dry & sunny this morning though still cold!
Need to get my gardening mojo sorted out and get those pansies potted and the tom seeds planted:).0 -

He's a lot better thanks Wednesday, still not 100% as back legs are still a little stiff but he doesn't seem to be in pain (that will be the metacam injection) so I will monitor him at home as he is eating and could jump on and off the bed. He wasn't talking to me last night but decided to forgive me for a while 5am this morning! Just means delaying letting him out for a while longerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
I'm glad puss cat is a bit better Brambling0

Brambling -pleased the cats improving.
PN -glad everything was ok at dentist, I hate refilling of teeth, they always seem to catch a nerve!
I had Spanish chicken and parmentier potatoes last night, and a gf biscuit. Then had a pkt smoky bacon crisp at the quiz with half a bottle of wine!
Beautiful blue sky and sunny this morning, I've had a large banana for breakfast, and I'm about to put lunch on , parsnip soup and toast, then pineapple with Greek yogurt and honey.
I'm working 1.30 till 5.30 today so will miss the nice weather.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0
