I'll never say that. 3 would be my absolute TOP limit, if I really really had to and if I'd avoided it for weeks/months/years and put it off .... and absolutely HAD to do it .... 3 tops.

    :)
    I shan't mention then I've still another 50+ to arrive(and potted up 144 a few weeks ago!):rotfl::rotfl:
Tbh because my garden is all pots, perennial plants don't do so well so I compensate by planting lots of bedding plants as I love a colourful well-filled garden. I buy them as tiny plug plants hence the huge numbers as it's much cheaper to get them that way and then bring them on yourself. I only really have two hobbies, cooking in the Autumn/Winter and gardening in the Spring/Summer so it keeps me out of mischief. :)

........the exercise videos are starting to show visible results. Cue for me studying one of "my" brands of clothing I've got my eyes on - ie White Stuff and thinking "If that, that and that are still available when...I'm having them....".
    Well done. :T:T

I wish I could say the same I've gained weight since I decide to try and eat 'more heathy' must try [STRIKE]harder[/STRIKE]. Now spring is here (I'm trying to be optimistic) my sister and I are going to start walking again we were doing two 10km walks a week and I was doing 45 mins every lunch time until my asthma got bad at the start of winter. It's not just jeans which no longer fit :p

Lunch was hummus and carrot sandwich and slightly cba tonight dinner was bacon and egg with HM chips. I've stocked up on fruit and veg so let's see if I can keep to the plan

Brambling - On Pinterest and YouTube, for instance, there are lots of clips of "yoga for weight loss".

It looks to me as if there are various ways to look at this besides conventional exercise per se - so don't know if those yoga poses work (but would have thought there's a good chance they help). There's also a current craze for the Japanese Long Breath (there on Pinterest and YouTube) - which I think I shall have a go at, as it looks worth a try. Don't know how that form of breathing would fit in with asthma? - though I know my home city osteopath cured his asthma with yoga (presumably the yoga breathing that's part of it?).

Am currently focusing on walking to get that "glued in" to my routine before investigating further on either of those.

There's also acupressure for weight loss - not sure about that - but might be worth a go.

Meanwhile - I really must wait until the weight loss has happened before buying any of those clothes I'm eyeing up. I saw one dress that I'd picked from the website and tried it up against myself and cue for going back to study just how long it's supposed to be on the website (yep...the website shows it as being just beneath the knee and not "darn nearly at my ankles"). Looks like I've got to mentally add a few £s to the cost of any dresses I buy - to have them taken up to the length they're supposed to be.

Two cues in a week that I must have lost height - with that and I can tell the holidaymakers/2nd home-owners are now here in this area (ie as I'm looking up at some people I don't recognise - as they're taller than me). I'm not very used to looking up at people in this area outside holiday season...

Caronc, hairy potter is dgson and my name for him! Not sure how it came about. Dd1 bought the box set for him a few years ago and dd2 said leave it at grandma's so she can read them to you!!!
Tbh, I'm actually enjoying them, we are on deathly hallows now so nearing the end. I would never of read them or watched the films otherwise.

Myself and dd2 have work today so dd1 is coming to look after him today.
I shall take the parsnip soup for lunch with slice of toast, and yogurt with seeds possibly some fruit.
Tea will be lo pasta from Thurs.

Well done money , is there a petite range you could try for dresses?

The red pesto was delicious. I don't know why I haven't tried it before.

I'm going to make crispy cubed tofu with red onions with the pesto sauce and have it with basmati rice for lunch or dinner today.

I just had a GF roll with veggie pate for breakfast.

We had another unexpected vet bill this week so I had to call up and get an overdraft from my bank. The first £250 was free. We haven't ever had to do that before! Oh well.

I share you pain, the last dress I bought showed as well above the knee on the model. I wanted just below the knee and it was on me.....:)

Ah I see, I've seen the films but not read the books. By the time HP hit my two were old enough to want to read the books by themselves.

Dull but dry here this morning so hopefully I'll get a bit done outside later.

Finally got my meal plan together for the next week
    • Steak, peppercorn sauce, potato slices, flat mushroom, tomato and onions
    • Pork ramen
    • Turkey meat balls or patty, root veg mash, cabbage, peppercorn sauce
    • Spinach & ricotta lasagne
    • Spiced chicken & lentils, courgette bake, pitta
    • Piri piri pulled pork, crusty roll, coleslaw & corn cobette
    • Cajun salmon, coleslaw, salad, potato wedges
No doubt it will change but I do feel better having at least given my meals a bit of thought.
There are stovies LO from last night at least one full portion which I'll freeze and any left after that will be lunch today.

My poor Dad is suffering again with tummy troubles, he has meds for when it flares up which will sort out it out but they don't work soon enough for his liking....
Unfortunately I've not a magic wand I can wave to make him feel better, wish I had as it makes him very grumpy and a bit phone call happy to give me the latest grim update_pale_. Hopefully he'll feel a bit better tomorrow.

Caron, I really sympathise with your Dad, in fact I think I'm in sync with him:(:(

Head down loo 1 am this morning, the rest is not for polite company

Upshot was contact my DD to cancel today's outing, it was going to be Bletchley Park, but that would have meant facing services / toilet free M25 & M1. Not a good idea in my present condition:(

So nil by mouth, and although not wanting food, due to now canceled outings, I have not pre planned for any this weekend. I expect I'll survive
