Second long, busy day of the week, second early night 😊
Rinse and repeat lunch and afternoon snack. Chorizo and sweetcorn orzo tonight.
Keep forgetting to say I'm enjoying celebrity masterchef new format and judges. Celebrity is stretching it a bit for most of this week's contestants though 😅

I was looking for a tin of chickpeas earlier and couldn't find one, now you've made me want to go to M&S to check their jars.
I went out to the art shop with my sister before she goes back to work and picked up a couple of bits in their seconds corner. Home via the farm shop I didn't buy very much, she needed some of their pork and apple burgers. She had a afternoon appointment so it was a cuppa rather than lunch.
Ham and coleslaw sandwich for lunch with a side of potato salad. LO beef and vegetables for dinner

Still sunshine here, no rain, seems to have passed us by again.
The sourdough is not going well, the leaven is stuck & not rising it needs to rise before I can move to next stage. In desperation I made an overnight white loaf using the BM, at least some nice tasty bread for lunch, just not exactly as planned
I have always found M & S food good, not always cheapest but good and reliable. my local one is being revamped, now that have removed the cafe bit, but I've not been in since. Ocado do deliver here but I found I could not "get on" with the on line, despite some tempting offers. Maybe I need to spend more time than I'm prepared to give.
Jam making later, I picked a load of my apples yesterday, having picked & frozen the blackberries when they ripened early this year. Defrosting them now and jam making later
Lunch, fresh HM loaf, salad sarnie
Dinner, could be use up the frozen Tuna steak + salad but undecided.
A slice of fresh bread & warm HM jam may also be consumed

Good morning everyone,
RIP Dolly, my Mum's favourite singer.
Yes "celebrity" is stretching it this week………
Shame your leaven is hesitant Farway! A tsp or so of fruit juice or squeezed grape/tomato might give it a nudge.
Dull but dry here. Forecast is for thunder and lightening this afternoon so I'll get anything that needs doing outside done this morning. Otherwise a rinse and repeat of admin and chores.
The salmon dish was good and the additional side salad was a good call. No LOs as such apart from a small portion of rice for the freezer. The furikake seasoning could be quite addictive I think. Yesterday I turned the LO chickpea and tomato sauce into soup, there's enough for lunch today. Chicken thighs are defrosting for peri peri chicken tonight which we'll have with various veg and HM sweet potato wedges.

I'm a Dolly fan, I don't think they make them like her anymore.
Rain never reached us either maybe overnight 🤷🏼♀️ it turned out hotter than expected. I volunteered at Petworth again and it was very warm 🥵
Buckwheat salad for lunch with feta, olives and haricot beans (no chickpeas)
Mushroom Omelette, new potatoes and salad for dinner

No rain again, a few thunder rumbles as it went over, but not a drop of rain. Dull & warm now.
My jam was disaster, would not set and eventually I burnt the pan. So, no jam plus burnt pan to un-gunge and burnt sloppy fruit dispose of. I've made it before without any problems so flummoxed why it failed this year.
My sourdough Leaven is still stuck, now it has separated with liquid on top. Gloom. I still have some starter so I think I may cut my losses & start afresh one.
I will be missing tomorrow, dog sitting for DD, she has to go out & GC are in France so I have a young dachshund to sit for.
Lunch, salad sandwich + salad cream
Dinner, defrosting a YS slow cooked beef hotpot, wanting something easy and fed up with salad

Dolly helped us overcome Covid.
I'm having a blueberry matcha and a veggie sausage roll.
I am getting Sainsbury's delivered today and I bought mushrooms and onions to make a stroganoff.

Good morning everyone,
Happy pooch sitting Farway, shame about the jam and leaven.
Yesterday's forecasted thunder never appeared though it did rain quite heavily but is supposed to appear this afternoon. It's dry and bright just now. Like yesterday I'll get the outside stuff done before lunch time just in case the weather does turn later. Tomorrow's Tesco order needs finalising and there's a wee pile of ironing but apart from that I'll see what the day brings.
Egg and/or tuna salad with avocado for lunch. Tebay lamb meatballs with HM tomato & veg sauce, pasta and salad for dinner.

MIA yesterday as was out for tea.
Slept late this morning after my 3 long days! One more day until a long weekend 🙌
Garlic mushrooms and cream cheese on toasted bagel for lunch. Had an appointment after work so old favourite of sausage and spinach gnocchi for a quick tea when I got back.

We had some rain overnight, not sure how much but it had stopped by 8am and just stayed grey for the rest of the day.
My new back door needed tweaking and the guy came out mid afternoon to fix it, didn't take long and he reckoned it was the heat,
I had strange telephone conversation with EF we argued over her age her birthday is next week, it seems she can't be 89 as she was born in 1937! We've had it several times, she keeps coming back to it when I don't care if she wants to say she is a year younger. We also rediscussed that I can only take her and her wheelchair in my Yaris and not pick up her blind friend as well as I have to drop the back seats. I didn't miss her dramas when I was away.
Last of my beef in a sandwich for lunch.
I popped to Waitrose to use some vouchers after 6pm (no faffing with parking then) I forgot I hadn't eaten until about 9pm so dinner was just toast and marmalade
