I thought Shoreham looked quite nice when we went past on the bus. Do you like that area Brambling?
    .
Although it's only about 20 miles away I have to admit I don't go there very often Wednesday it always looks nice but I tend to go to Goring which is near Worthing when I go to the coast. They have a large M&S and Next which is why we usually go.

We've had some heavy rain and thunder today but luckily it missed the children's parade which was in town (I didn't go) but I think they would have gotten wet in the park at the fund day.

i found a tin of herrings in tomato sauce in the cupboard and had it on toast for lunch.  Stir fry beef and vegetables with noodles for dinner

Very dull & windy, rain went through overnight.

    Lunch, cheese toastie
Dinner, frozen pie, which I think is in the freezer. With LO mash & mixed veggies.

It feels much cooler here. I have to go out for a blood test this morning. I will eat breakfast when I get back. I might make a cooked breakfast.

    Good morning everyone,
Dry but breezy, good drying weather. I'm just waiting for load 2 to finish so I can hang it out before I head to physio.
Apart from the ribs that were all eaten, I slightly over catered yesterday so plenty of LOs for lunch . JO's salmon in a bag  with various veg and sweet potatoes for dinner.

Had a lovely day out yesterday which involved both lunch and cake 😋so just had a cheese and chutney sandwich with a 🍷 last night. Not the best day weather wise but we did spend a lot of time in the cafe!

Took ages for the sun to come out here today but it was quite warm when I went for a walk after work, very breezy though.

Scrambled eggs and avocado on toast for lunch. Just had chorizo and sweetcorn “stew” which is more of an orzo risotto. LOs can go in a lunchbox for tomorrow.

We had a wet start to the day, I had to drive to the hospital just for a blood test and it wasn't a nice journey across the Ashdown Forest but brightened up to drive home.  I didn't appreciate a two hour round trip for a blood test but needs must,  I ended up with plasters on each arm as she had problems and have a nice bruise on the 'successful' arm it seems my arms were too cold!

Home for a quick lunch and then into town, having put olive oil in my ear all week I had a second ear appointment, after weeks I can now hear out of my right ear 🥳  I had a couple of other chores in town so came home needing pain killers, too much driving and walking. They probably explained why I fell asleep on the sofa  😴

Small YS pizza from the freezer for lunch.  Chicken breast wrapped in bacon, new potatoes, french beans and sweetcorn for dinner

Back to sun & warmer this morning, just a bit of a breeze, ideal drying clothes weather

I'm still trying to complete my Asda online shop, with them updating website things keep vanishing, including my delivery slot, then if I want to book another, my basket empties :(
Still, I do have a fiver voucher for “inconvenience” so I'll not jump ship just yet

    Lunch, another BLT sarmnie
Dinner, grilled gammon steak, fried eggs, mushrooms & oven chips

    Good morning everyone,
Dry and sunny here though not overly warm.
Didn't think I was going to get on, the forum took ages to decide is I was human! More tea needed I think before I go and make myself presentable for lunch out. Four of us are going to an Italian restaurant in a near by town. It must be over 20 years since I last visited it, they used to do lovely desserts.
Cooked an aubergine and beef keema curry yesterday for dinner tonight, I probably won't want much but it's made a large panful so I'll freeze at least half of it.
