I think I’ll have pasta bake out the freezer for dinner as I ate the burgers for breakfast ☺️

It will mean putting the oven on in this hot weather.

Lovely warm sunny day but not silly hot. Out and about this morning but home for lunch which was smoked houmous, carrot and cucumber sticks, olives and pitta. Made last night’s LO courgette, chorizo and new potato traybake into a salad bowl with some of the chimichurri as a dressing tonight.

The nights are still a bit sticky for me but at least the days are cooler about 24c today.

i watched a Amazon van speed into the Close today with its side door wide open and a half dressed man shot out with the parcel, almost threw it at my neighbours door took quick picture and jumped back in the back as the van swept out again at speed! I followed and he had blocked the next road rather than park and it was repeated, door still open.  What could possibly go wrong, speeding van with someone loose in the back with a wide open door?

    Tuna mayo wrap for lunch.

I made a tray bake for dinner with orzo, vension meatballs and vegetables in a tomato sauce it made more than i planned!  My sister popped in as I finished and was eying it up until I said it was Bambi 😁 🦌

    Good morning everyone,
Grey, wet and windy with gales forecast for this afternoon! Frank is peeved that I have closed the back door as he likes to run in and out.
Tebay lamb meatballs were as good as always, we ate them all but there's some pasta and sauce LO which I'm thinking of turning into soup for lunch. Usual Friday tbc for dinner.

Likewise, a bit cooler last night at last
Sunny and warm, the real heat has thankfully gone, but salad is still good choice

With the heat & humidity I had half a loaf go mouldy yesterday, luckily I had made a replacement, so could seamlessly carry on

    Lunch, BLT sarnie
Dinner, use up. LO mash, LO mixed veg, + boil in bag kipper fillets.

I have two appointments today and the weather here looks quite nice and sunny. I will know how hot it is when I start walking. I went through my freezer yesterday and I have lots of odds and ends to use up as I put the leftovers in the top drawer of the fridge. I have a wedge of tofu to use up that I will make scrambled tofu on toast for breakfast and then a leftover curry and rice for lunch. I'm not sure about tonight.

Rain, rain and more rain today, not too bothered by it as there are plenty inside chores I can be getting on with shredding and filing to name a couple.

Poached fish with potatoes and onions (unsure about the onions but maybe they’ll be nice) and tzatziki. It’s a Guardian recipe.

Feels chilly tonight and it’s grey and damp out 😕

Had a fridge use up lunch of salad with Parma ham, mozzarella and the end of the artichoke hearts but I went and bought lovely fresh bread to have with it. Prawn, pea and red pepper egg fried rice tonight with lots of fresh ginger and coriander, was yummy 😋

No volunteering today as I met friends in Chichester, it was her birthday yesterday and her husband brought us lunch 😋 it was.hot so he left us having morning coffee/ tea and we met him for lunch so no wandering around the shops which isn't unusual 😁  I usually volunteer on Fridays so I spent the whole day thinking it was Saturday.

I'm not volunteering at Petworth tomorrow as their buggy from the car park to the house is broken again and the hip isn't up to walking both ways and standing all day.

    Lunch out at cotes

Small portion of LO orzo and meatballs for a late dinner.  There are still LOs 🙄
