Been like being in a giant tumble dryer here today! Two loads of washing dried very quickly on the line (did have to untangle it all a couple of times).

Took the opportunity of wanting to watch various bits of Glastonbury to clear the ironing pile, including the stuff that got washed today.

Burger, new potatoes, salad and coleslaw tonight.

DS2 bought a new (to him) car yesterday a Toyota RAV4. Pretty much the the same size as his current Audi just slightly higher. He collects it on Monday evening.
DD had a RAV, it only went when DGS arrived, no room for baby items. She liked it, especially the higher driving position.

    Lunch, salad sandwich
Dinner, last grilled pork chop, LO cold new spuds & salad bits

    Good morning,
    The sun is shining.  :)
DS2 had a great day out unfortunately the whole group are sunburned, stupid beggars forgot they were still exposed even though it was overcast especially on the ferry. The groom looks a like a panda and the wedding is next weekend!
Testing out the new pizza oven tonight. A SM trip is required as we've just discovered the bread flour is full of weevils. I've not had that happen for a long time.  :s Pizza and salad for dinner. Scrambled eggs for lunch.

Dull start here too but turning out nice now.

I got new organiser boxes ages ago and finally got around to sorting out the kitchen drawers this morning; the spice/herb jars are all stood like soldiers on parade, the utensils, assorted bags, foil, cling are now all sorted rather than rolling around and having to be rummaged thru - happy days  :D

I defrosted then cooked mince yesterday in a keema curry for tonight, always reminds me of a previous contributor "pasturesnew" I often wonder how she is doing.

Lunch is a slice of toast with peanut butter then some fruit that needs using up.

I only had one slicee of bread left before my shopping arrives this afternoon so I had it with Flora and Marmite. I was quite hungry so I had the leftover pasta I made yesterday. Spaghetti with lentils and tomatoes with pesto sauce. I had it cold as it is so hot!

Beautiful day here, hot and sunny but a bit of breeze at times. Was still 26c at 6.30 p.m. when I put the washing out 🙃 (slight change of plan meant I didn’t come home in the middle of the day).

Gave the bathroom a good scrub this morning before it got really hot, stripped the bed and dusted and hoovered my bedroom plus did kitchen and bathroom floors. Then went for a swim and ended up at my sisters for lunch before we went out to an artisan market, a wander and a cuppa.

Just had quiche, salad and coleslaw while watching Rod at Glastonbury.

Must remember to put the quilt cover on before bedtime 🤔

Hot and sticky here, a two shower kind of day 🚿 it's still 19c now so I not expecting to sleep very well tonight.

My sister suggested a cuppa out after lunch so we went to a local garden centre who have a small cake cafe where they make them behind the counter so you can watch.  We both had tea and a very nice piece of Bakewell slice 😋.  It was too hot to browse so she came bake to me for another cuppa 🙂 and we talked the afternoon away.

bagel and cream cheese for lunch.

Chicken marinated in honey, chilli plus several other ingredients I no longer remember 😁 with rice and steamed tenderstem broccoli

Hot & sunny already, scorcher could be today.

Already seen the gulls circling, so I assume the ants are flying today, ideal weather for them, still & hot

    Lunch, cheese & Branston sarnie
    Dinner, salad with something TBD

    Good morning everyone,
Just enjoying a cuppa before I finish getting ready to meet a friend for lunch. We're just heading to a local coffee shop we both like and hope we can get a seat as you can't book. It's dry and warm but very overcast so we might not  risk sitting outdoors in case it pours as the forecast is undecided.
Yoghurt chicken curry with naan and salad for dinner.
