Good morning everyone,
Yes 60 for a bus pass up here though I've had one since 2016 on health grounds.
Dry just now but supposed to get really wet as the day progresses. I'll water the greenhouse shortly.
DS2 got his cat back yesterday complete with complimentary bottle of rather expensive champagne. Shame neither of us like it! Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne 75cl | Sainsbury's It will be stashed for a future gift. However much as he's enjoyed the Audi level of customer service he's less than impressed with two major faults since he's had had. Thankfully both fully covered by warranty but this runs out in a few weeks so he's thinking of going back to Toyota and viewed one yesterday.
Domestics and admin catch up today and Tesco are due later. Lunch will be a Tebay Scotch egg and dinner will be the usual tbc/freezer rake,0 -

I just had two appointments and walking back felt so hot! I am planning on staying in this weekend as much as I can.
I haven't eaten much today as I had a slice of toast before I left and then my appointments were back to back. I just had some kettle crisps when I got home, but I need to make somethng proper.0 -
Strange weather here, cool and overcast all morning, did finally brighten and warm up as forecast but windy and dark skies when I nipped out, no rain so far…
Got my needed calm, catch up day so was able to finish another ongoing task this afternoon 🙃
Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel for lunch with cherry tomatoes. Made a big Greek ish salad tonight with added new potatoes. G&T before and a glass of wine with, been a long week 😉0 -
Nice bottle of champagne Caronc it will make a lovely gift. My last two cars have been Toyotas and have given me no issues 🤞 although after a Audi I'm assuming your son isn't looking at a Yaris 😁The day started strange here as well JKS when I drove into town to volunteer it looked like it was going to rain as the clouds were quite dark. By mid morning it was about 26c, at least it meant we were quiet, just as well as we were short of volunteers.
Smoked salmon, cream cheese and salad roll for lunch followed by sone mixed berries.
Lazy dinner a quarter of ham hock quiche from the freezer with potato salad, coleslaw and salad

Good morning everyone,
DS2 bought a new (to him) car yesterday a Toyota RAV4. Pretty much the the same size as his current Audi just slightly higher. He collects it on Monday evening.
Pooch sitting Frank and Hector today. DS1 and DIL2B are at a wedding and DS2 has just headed for the ferry to Arran for a stag do. He'll be back this evening. Thankfully for both events the forecast looks dry if overcast.
Meals are tbc. I'll see what I fancy later.0 -
Too hot. I was vacuuming and moving stuff around and had a cool bath, but I feel really warm just after taking the recycling outside.
I just had a sandwich and I'm going to make an (iced) smoothie.2025 GOALS
