Oh no, 19 is quite an age for a cat, though. I probably said mine turned 20 the other day.

I just had a yoghurt as I have a hygienist appointment this morning.

It rained here last night and the relief of having a breeze and not that oppresssive heat. It feels so lovely.

    Good morning everyone,
Oh no for your sister's cat Brambling but lovely it just drifted off peacefully in it's sleep.
Grey and wet here today though it supposed to dry up as the day goes on.
I've number of accounts/bonds maturing this month so need to do a bit of money shuffling so will make a start on that today. Tonight Frank arrives to stay until the 21st as DS1 and DIL2B are off to Greece and then at a wedding when they return. It will chaos for a couple of days and then he'll settle down into our routine.
Lunch is going to be a hummus, lettuce and tomato wrap. Tonight it's mushroom, lentil and black bean chilli from the freezer with rice and salad.

Very sticky & sleepless night, but rain arrived early so a thankful break. Sun & heat due back this afternoon.

Asda delivery arrived on time, one out of stock, bread, I did not opt for a sub. So looking like the Panny will be out later this week.

    Lunch, salad + cheese sarnie
Diner, use up eggs & frozen sausages, maybe clear out remains of frozen chips while I'm at it

Grey and damp start here but did eventually brighten up and turn into a nice afternoon. Lots of tennis watching here since I finished work so only enjoyed the sunshine through the window 🙃

Orzo pasta salad with mozzarella, pesto, olives, cucumber and sun dried tomatoes for lunch. Chorizo, new potato and courgette traybake with chimichurri tonight, quite looking forward to the LOs 😋

Same here, I went to post a parcel at lunch and it was pleasantly mild and the gray was clearing, it was sunny by 2pm and quite warm again when I went out at 7pm.  I did have a hangover type headache this morning due to lack of sleep the last few nights and not alcohol unfortunately so had a slow start tothe day. I did awake to a text from the water company threatening the possibility of no water due to a nearby water leak so had  a quick shower followed by filling a bucket with water, the kettle and a 2 litre bottle just in case. Luckily the water stayed on, I did pass the water company men on the main road with water poring down the hill at lunchtime.

Ham, cheese and coleslaw roll for lunch.

I AF a piece of quiche from the freezer and had with salad, coleslaw and new potatoes for dinner

Sunny but thankfully cooler & fresher than the last few days, still, a bit of a sleepless night though.

May get to potter in the garden if the heat does not return

    Lunch, cheese + salad sarnie
    Dinner, salad & something TBD

    Good morning everyone,
Yesterday dried in to a pleasant if not sunny afternoon but back to grey and wet this morning. Isn't hugely warm either. I've a stack of admin to tackle and I've just finalised tomorrow's Tesco order.
Frank and Hector are reasonably settled though Frank was crying for bit at bed time but  did settle and is fine this morning. He'd had a solid nap in the evening and I think he wanted to stay up for a bit.
LO chilli for lunch. Moroccan lamb meatballs from Tebay farm shop with pasta and HM tomato sauce for dinner.

Lovely and sunny today and not too hot. I had a peanut butter sandwich as I had defrosted two slices of bread last night.
