    Good morning everyone,
Glad you managed to get it sorted out Brambling.
Another sunny day here. DS2 has headed to Glasgow to help DS1 and DIL2B with their kitchen refurb/upgrade. It's a really decent sized room with a fairly new IKEA kitchen but very poorly laid out and not a "cooks" kitchen. Like me they have a plethora of kitchen kit so a load more storage and a dishwasher is getting added. Depending on the carnage or lack of it DS1 & DIL2B might come here for dinner and stay over. I'm going to make a batch of burgers and if it ends up just DS2 & I will freeze the others. Salady bits for lunch.

I just booked a trip to Bournemouth in September. I haven't been there in 20 years. I got some strawberries out of the freezer last night to make a smoothie and I have the leftover Jennifer Aniston salad to have, I will add some houmous to it as well.

Same again with the sunny but breezy, lovely drying weather 🙃

Slept really late this morning (after an early toilet stop 😉), which seemed to throw me out all day. Had a real pottering day - laundry, grocery shopping and general tidying. Done a big watering and feeding session of the pots this evening before settling down to Doctor Who.

Beans with toast for lunch, prawn and broccoli Thai red curry with noodles tonight.

Unfortunately sleep is still eluding me this week an achy hip isn't helped by sitting down all day on Friday when volunteering.

My sister and I went out for lunch at the Strawberry farm shop, I had no sun cream on so we sat inside where it was nice and cool. I unfortunately burn by just looking at the sun whereas my sister doesn't have my delicate English rose complexion 😁

Sausage and onion marmalade baguette for lunch, their sausages are from a local 'prize winning' butcher and very nice  🙂 we gossiped long enough to have tea and cake afterwards 😋

I did snooze a little late afternoon, so woke a little creaky at a strange angle on the sofa 🙄 so a quick dinner as I CBA to cook of LO tandoori chicken and salad

Dull & grey, but supposed to brighten up later
I just booked a trip to Bournemouth in September. I haven't been there in 20 years.
From what I've heard it has changed a lot, with the University, Covid etc. It's ten years or so since I was there.
At least the beach is sandy, if you like beaches of course

Lunch, corned beef + sliced fresh onion sandwich.
Dinner, Use up, corned beef [ex lunchtime] & LO mash, in a Hash. Couple of eggs & maybe some beans.

    Good morning everyone,
Another lovely day here. The forecast looks to be a bit mixed from tomorrow so I intend to make the most of the garden today. DS2 has headed back to Glasgow to help with the kitchen and my sister has dropped Ari off for a few days as she is away with work until Thursday. DS1 and DIL2B just stayed at home yesterday evening, the work had gone well  and they had a usuable kitchen.
The HM were decent though I slightly burned one side though not to the point of being inedible! Lunch will be jazzed up LO salad and tonight is tbc, we'll either try these Tesco Finest 4 Pork, Smoked Red Pepper & Paprika Hot Dogs 400g - Tesco Groceries or get a takeaway.

Changed for the worst you mean? My friend went to university there and she lived in a dodgy area back then. Boscombe.

I have the last of the salad to have for brunch. I didn't get through the houmous in time so I put it in the freezer. I am going to have a smoothie too.

I got some pies from Aldi so I might have one for dinner with chips or potatoes and veg.

I noticed these last time I went to Tesco, so I'll be interested on what you think before I try them out.

Lazy day here with not very much cooking going on  ;)
Lunch was salami, cucumber, tomato and crusty bread.
Roast chicken, new potatoes, ss peas made for an easy tea tonight.
