A cooler day, I needed a cardi on when I went out. I had a few things to do outside of town and it was quite nice drive without the sun shining through the windscreen
I'm in the 'dog' house with his lordship today as I let him out the front door first thing and forgot to open his catflap at the back door, took me a while to realise the banging wasn't next door being noisywhen I opened the back door my cat and not my cat were sitting outside either looking very amused. Not my cat doesn't come in having been shouted at a couple of times but does follow his lordship home.
Smoked ham roll for lunch with a side salad and beetroot. LO duck, veggies and rice for dinner

Weirdly, I fancied a Greek salad too. I might make this tomorrow (with vegan feta cheese and quinoa) as I have everything else. Jennifer Aniston Salad - Eating Bird Food
Oh yes and I have half a jar of black olives too to add.0 -

Good morning everyone,
You've inspired me jazz up LO salad and chicken for lunch with some olives and air fried croutons.
Another lovely day here. Apart from some routine chores and my Tesco order arriving I've nothing planned and nothing screamingly urgent to do so I'm just going to enjoy the good weather.
Dinner is usual Friday tbc.0 -
I put the heating on for half an hour yesterday as I felt cold for some reason. I have had a strawberry milkshake and avocado on toast. I'm going to make that salad later.2025 GOALS

Lovely morning again, had an early outing to get cash from the hole in the wall and stopped at the fishmonger on the way home. Caught up on a few chores and meal prep before I went for my covid booster late morning.
Last night's meal sounded better than it tasted, it was a shop bought "branded" sauce which just seemed to be lacking something, in future I'll stick with my own "chuck it in" kind of stir-fry sauces.
Really enjoyed my Greek salad yesterday so had it again today and for tonight its haddock in panko crumbs, ts broccoli & ss peas, plenty of lemon wedges and tartare sauceJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Yes, the breeze kept the temperature down here but it was a lovely sunny day, enjoyed walks to/from the station and a quick jaunt for an M&S salad (falafel, houmous and tabbouleh) at lunchtime 🙃
Made a chorizo and sweetcorn orzo risotto sort of thing tonight, served with broccoli.0 -
Friday volunteering and warm enough for a Teeshirt when I walked from the car. I didn't sleep well last night, my hip kept me awake so it took a couple of teas before the brain functioned.I locked a building society online access late last night, my secret word should have been all lower case! I had to call them when I got home tonight which was fun
he's telling me I need to give then a account number of one of my accounts (just 15 characters) but I can't access online to find them 🙄. Luckily I found a email from when I opened a ISA last year, then they wanted to know now much was in there and what other accounts I had at least they took the names and didn't need account numbers. I appreciate the security checks but it has made me write all this stuff down afterwards I only use it online with no written statements.
I marinated tandoori chicken last night and had that with salad for lunch. Macaroni cheese with ham for dinnerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
