Lovely day here too but there's still that sea breeze taking the temp down, the good news - my washing dried in quick time.
Cheese, watercress and pickle salad for lunch.
Our butcher isn't doing my favourite pork & apple sausages anymore so I'm trying out the pork and caramelised red onion ones for a change, they are big meaty looking bangers so will only need one on the plate with some jersey royals, peas & sweetcorn.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Good morning everyone,
Sunny and warm here today.
I managed to both weed killer the garden and wash the front windows yesterday so apart from routine stuff I plan to have a chore free day and enjoy the sunshine, It's supposed to be showery tomorrow.
For dinner last night I air fried my pork shoulder steak for 15 mins at 200C then rested for 5 mins. It was absolutely cracking. I had it with air fried HM chips and steamed veg. I've chicken wings defrosting for tonight, I'll decide later what have with them. Lunch is tbc.0 -
A bit more cloud around today but still pleasant enough out there.

It has been lovely weather here in Folkestone and today we went to Hythe which is also nice. I had a cooked breakfast at a cafe today and then pizza for dinner at a restaurant. I'm feeling tired from walking around in the sun so will have an early night.0

A sunny day here until about 8pm then we had some rain, not a lot so I'm not sure if the garden will benefit
The local 10km was today which due to the way it loops comes pasts the house via the footpath next to me and loops around so later runs across the end of the road to make driving out difficult. It's usually a choice of going out by 10am for all morning or staying in 🙂 I chose this year to stay in, I didn't envy the runners they looked hot 🥵

Foggy this morning but it burned back by about 10.30 no doubt it will be back later.
Did an inventory and tidy of freezer in preparation of my delivery arriving tomorrow, there are a few odds and ends of veg that I'll probably chuck in the food waste bin as I cant remember how long they've been in there and don't really want to make something that will take up more room than I've created.
Lunch was tomato & olive bruschetta using half a ciabatta I'd forgotten was in the freezer.
Also found a lone burger which I'll have tonight with lettuce, cucumber and the last of the potato salad; I've added a sprinkle of curry powder to pep it up a bit
Have a nice day out Farway, hope you manage to dodge the thunderstorms.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Good afternoon,
Hottest day so far today, so far no rain but I wouldn't be surprised if we get some thundery rumbles.
DS2 got home in the early hours, he's on holiday today so could lie. Thoroughly enjoyed Lisbon and it was a "doing" rather than just boozing stag do which suited him.
I was at physio earlier and it was a sorer than usual session so taking it easy this afternoon.
I have a meeting this evening so prepped dinner yesterday - chicken tikka masala. I cooked onions and peppers made the chicken tikka yesterday in the air fryer and have a cheaty jar of sauce to go with it. Lunch was cottage cheese and Bayonne ham on toast with tomatoes and grapes.0
