Thunder storms and heavy rain for a couple of hours early afternoon I'm hoping they didn't reach Wisley and Farway had a good day.
Thanks, it was sunshine all day at Wisley, but ran into torrential downpours once past Guildford & on the way home. Dry as bone at home, so guess the storm was very localised
Had lovely day at Wisley, used one of their electric buggies, so not tiring in the heat

Hot again today, last night was another restless night of being too hot to sleep properly

A top-up Asda order came this morning, just things I would normally have mooched around Morries for this week, but I did foresee me being a bit worn out from Wisley, so got a delivery, using my annual pass
    .
Lunch, toasted crumpets + cheese topping
Dinner, Medium fresh chicken delivered, so roast that I think, with salad & boiled new spuds

Lovely clear skies here today  B) met up with a friend for a bit catch-up; we decided it was too nice to sit inside a cafe so we grabbed a takeaway coffee, picked up some cold meat, cherry toms, cheese slices, grapes and crusty bread at the SM and had a picnic in the park.

Defrosted some of the leftover easter lamb and a portion of gravy for tonight, I'll have that with some new potatoes, peas and ts broccoli.

It feels like summer here. I just ate out for lunch cauliflower wings in buffalo sauce and a salad with olives. I have a play to go to tonight.

Cooler today and very cloudy/overcast until mid afternoon. Popped a load out on the line anyway and it was dry by teatime, turned into quite a nice evening but a bit of a cool breeze. Nipped out to an appointment early evening so did a bit of dinner prep before I went.

Quiche, cold jersey royals, salad and coleslaw for lunch. LO mushroom risotto with the end of the LO fajita chicken stirred in tonight, broccoli on the side for greenery 🙃

Back to the sun shine today.

I had to go into town for a hygienist appointment, I'm sure it goes up in price every visit  :# whilst I was in town and paying for parking I went into M&S for some milk and veg and was happy to pick up tenderstem broccoli, stringless beans, baby peppers and fresh figs all 75% YS I picked enough to drop into my sister, I'm surprised it was that heavily reduced at 1pm.  YS prawns and breaded plaice also fell in the basket 🫣

Prawn roll doe lunch,  I AF one of the breaded plaice fillets and add with jersey royals and green veg for dinner

    Good afternoon everyone,
The haze cleared yesterday and it turned into a lovely, pleasantly warm day, Today it's been sunny from the outset but the temperature isn't too high, my kind of perfect weather.
Frank is coming here for a few hours this afternoon, so I'm not expecting to get masses done. My sis is coming for dinner tonight. I'm keeping it simple - roast chicken, salad and HM wedges. It's a fairly big chook so I'm expecting LOs. Lunch is LOs/fridge bits.

I am having some grapes and I'm about to make a toasted pitta stuffed with something, maybe houmous and salad. It is much more chilly today and I'm waiting for my dog to be dropped back home.

Lovely clear skies here too but again there's that cool breeze making it chillier when out of the sun.

A nice fresh Greek salad for lunch, heavy on the oregano and olives  B)

Beef, peppers and broccoli in black bean sauce with noodles for tonight.

Ooh, N2BT - your meals sound lovely today 😋

The sun tried to come out most of the day but only managed it for a few minutes late afternoon, the heating is on this evening!

Posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch. Salmon, jersey royals, salad and coleslaw tonight.
