Good afternoon everyone,
Belated Happy Birthday Brambling.
Hazy but a bit warmer today.
A general day of pottering planned. DS2 is hoping to get finished a decent time so he can get packed for tomorrow when he's heading on as stag weekend. DS1 is arriving later to collect Frank and take him and Hector to Glasgow. DS1 will join us for dinner - Yoghurt chicken curry.
DS2 popped by Tebay services far shop and bought a tray of their gorgeous lamb meatballs and a pack of Cumberland links. The meatballs have been popped in the freezer to have next week and it's sausage sandwiches for lunch.0 -

I finished the under the stairs tidying this morning and still didn't find what I thought was there! At least it is tidy again. The car had to be parked across the road when I came in last night,it seems a little too close to a tree sko a trip to the car wash was needed this afternoon 🙄
Ham and cheese roll for lunch with beetroot. I wasn't that hungry tonight so some scrambled egg on toast as a easy dinnerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Still on the cool side here but dry so load of towels dried on the line. If the forecast is correct, the temperature jumps up tomorrow and is then set fair for at least a week, we’ll see 🙃
Must remember to water tomorrow!

Good morning everyone,
Bright and okay temperature wise this morning.
I'm CFO until Monday and home alone. I've taken the pooch free opportunity to open both my back and front doors and give the house a good airing. Usually only the back is open as while the front garden is enclosed I live on a main road so pooches don't get access to it.
Tesco are due later and I have an online meeting at lunchtime but apart from that no real plans.
Lunch is going to be a salmon and cream cheese bagel with salad using up a small piece of cooked salmon LO from Wednesday. I've chicken legs defrosting to roast for a couple of meals so will make some sort of traybake/bung in with them tonight.0 -

Good morning everyone,
It's turning into a cracking day here.
While I'm pooch free I plan to weed killer the slabs in the back garden. DS2 was going to do it on Thursday evening after Hector had left but ran out of time. It's not a job I find easy to do so will probably just laze for the rest of the afternoon. Last night I cooked two smallish chicken legs, I had both the thighs for dinner and will use the drumsticks for lunch today. I've pork shoulder steak defrosting for tonight, I'm swithering between using it for souvlaki or making something stroganoffy. I'll see what I fancy later.0
