Cooler, but I was too hot last night, so it was a restless night
However, that meant I had an early start this morning, out watering because no rain is forecast for at least another week.

Lunch, just fancy tinned toms on toast
Dinner, Sirloin with frozen AF chips + salad

    Good morning everyone,
Sunny but on the cool side, apparently there was a touch of frost first thing. We have Ari until this evening and he and Hector are just sprawled on the deck snoozing.
I've cracked out the sous vide to cook a piece of brisket ready to finish on the bbq tomorrow. I've not used it for ages so fingers crossed it's working though I use DS2's if it isn't. I'll cook some baby spuds later for potato salad and the ribs from the butcher are already marinated that means tomorrow I just need to sort out salads and sort out the meat for round 2 on Monday.
As tomorrow and Monday are meat heavy tonight we're having pasta with mint, lemon and peas. Lunch is tbc though I'm thinking egg salad or a cheese toastie.

What I call a hokey-cokey type of day = sunshine, scattered showers and a brisk wind, great for getting washing dried as long as you are prepared to dash in & out between the showers  :D

    Ham salad for lunch.

Last nights curry turned out to be lamb instead of chicken so tonight I'll happily have the chicken kiev that's been lurking in the freezer for a few weeks. To go with it I have a pouch of aldi's mixed pepper microwave rice to try out and on the veg side I'll just have some raw ss peas - love their sweet crunch.

Hope it stays fine for your BBQ's Caronc, though I did hear snow mentioned in the forecast  :o

It is suddenly much cooler here this afternoon. I had to close the windows and curtains upstairs as it was quite windy.

I had steamed asparagus with bread and butter for lunch. Smoothie and toastie for breakfast.

Lazy day today, just pottered at some life admin and did a small grocery shop.

Bread and cheese for lunch with the end of the tomatoes and avocado and half an orange pepper that needed eating.

Made pork stroganoff tonight, served with noodles and broccoli.

I'm another one who had a restless night as I was too hot. It was sunny when I went into town to meet a friend just after 10am but when I walked back to the car at 1pm the sun was behind clouds and it was muggy.

After a catch up with my friend I popped into M&S opposite the coffee shop for some berries, meringue nests and bread rolls.

A late lunch of seafood sticks and cottage cheese salad with a crusty roll.
I laid down for a doze to catch up on lost sleep and it turned into a two and a half hour sleep, it was after 6.30pm when I got up so a change of plans for dinner and I'm still wide awake at almost midnight. Definitely thrown my timings out for the day.

Late dinner at 9pm of scrambled egg and toasted bagel

    Breezy but sunny enough.
Just pop in quick because I'm going over DS for DGD belated 15th, they are going somewhere as a birthday treat tomorrow so it's either now or never for late birthday wishes

Probably into a GC café for lunch, I suspect I'll just settle for tea & scone, then something more substantial later for dinner

    Good morning everyone,
Sunny but decidedly on the cool side. I don't think we'll be eating outside later. I'll scrub the table just in case it unexpectedly warms up!
BLT planned for lunch and later it will be brisket, ribs, potato salad, coleslaw, corn cobettes and crusty bread. I've lamb mince and chicken thighs defrosting for round 2 tomorrow.

It feels much cooler today which is a shame. I had crumpets and Flora for breakfast with a few strawberries. I am marinating tofu for lunch and I will have it with asparagus, basmati rice, sweetcorn and peas.

Bit typical bank holiday weather here, fairly certain it even sleeted a tiny bit earlier. Did put a wash through and it literally started to rain as the machine finished, it went out for a bit late afternoon as that was typically the best part of the day. I’ve also done a few domestics and been for a swim.

Coronation chicken with couscous salad for lunch. There was cake during the afternoon so not long had broccoli and chorizo pasta tonight, it’s garlic and herb cream cheese as the sauce 😋
