It is actually quite hot here. I walked to my class this morning and the walk back I felt very warm. I had a yoghurt before I left and some leftover chips heated up in the air fryer when I got in.0

A lazy day for me, I didn't sleep very well not helped by his lordship decided between 11pm and midnight that he really wanted to go out 🙄 he was very vocal and cleared my dressing table three times. Reasoning with him didn't work 🤨 but he did eventually decided he wasn't going out and used his litter tray. He curled up and slept all night whereas I felt I was awake every hour.
Bed was stripped and washed to make use of the sun 🌞 I'm deciding whether to put on the summer duvet and a blanket as I've been too hot for the duvet and too cold without it.Lunch was a bagel with coleslaw and Wensleydale cheese. LO chicken and chorizo traybake and green veg.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Another lovely sunny day but doesn’t feel like a heatwave. Had a lovely walk after work, still exploring new area, nice to be able to do it in the sun 🌞
Quiche, salad, coleslaw and a slice of bread and butter for lunch. Stripped the remaining meat off the chicken this evening, 3 portions in the freezer and I made egg fried rice with the rest plus orange pepper and peas. I’ve also prepped fruit and made tomorrow’s packed lunch, oh and done a few bits of ironing 😇0 -

Good morning,
Sunny and pleasantly warm here today. I'm not a great heat lover so late teens is pretty perfect for me.
I've a couple of admin tasks to tackle then I intend to pot on my cues and toms and generally enjoy the sunshine.
Salady bits for lunch and tonight is a one pot Mexican chicken and rice dish from the RecipeTinEats website RecipeTin Eats - A Food Blog Serving Up Quick & Easy Dinner Recipes.0 -
I had a toasted bagel with Flora and Marmite. I've been quite busy this morning. It is quite hot as I've just been out in my garden.2025 GOALS

Took an early trip to aldi as I needed a top-up shop and caught the local service bus back; it goes through the small fishing villages so a very pleasant trip back and loads of trees in pink and white blossom on show.
Salami, coleslaw and crusty bread for lunch.
Halloumi, spiced up couscous and roast vegetables tonight.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Definitely hotter today, especially walking out of the office at the end of the day, and on the stuffy train.
Packed lunch today of cumin roasted carrots, lentils and feta. Quiche, coleslaw, salad and new potatoes for tea. Bit more Easter egg with a cuppa this evening 🙃0 -
I'm the same as you Caronc I'm too fair skinned and also I'm not built for heat so late teens early 20s is perfect for me
Toasted bagel for lunch with the last of the coleslaw and some cheese.
