Dull & cool, maybe a bit of sun later. Hope so 'cos I'm planning salad.

Chair sounds comfy, and never too large, always room for some cushions, and a cat :)

Popped a chicken in oven first thing once I decided on salad & not roast dinner

    Lunch, roast chicken [maybe] sandwich
    Dinner, Roast chicken + salad

I had a toasted pitta with vegan cheese and tomatoes. I'm going for a walk today and it feels colder than it looks outside. It might just be my house feeling cold!

Coincidences again, after the pork & pepper stew was finished in the SC yesterday I put in a couple of chicken thighs so that I could have a chicken salad for my lunch today.

Tonight I will have a couple of chunky fish fingers, hm coleslaw and AF chips.

    Good morning everyone,
    Chair sounds ideal Brambling.
Sunny here today, though a tad cooler than yesterday.
Still tackling the admin pile but getting there, though where "there" is seems to be a bit of a moveable feast.
Fridge/salad bits for lunch. JOs gingery, garlicky beef mince with rice and steamed veg for dinner.
  • Quite a nice day again here, got a load of washing dried on the line.

Scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast for lunch (was going to be on toasted bagel but forgot to take a bagel out to defrost 🙄).

Salmon, broccoli and pesto pasta after swimming tonight.

A day at home, as I'm volunteering Friday and Saturday this week so things needed doing indoors. Friday will be sitting all day and Saturday I'll be standing so I'm usually hobbling a bit more by Sunday and don't want to do much 🙄

Sausage sandwich for lunch.  LO cottage pie and veg for dinner and there's enough for a easy dinner tomorrow

    Good morning everyone,
Overcast with showers forecast here. Much cooler feeling than yesterday.
I got the admin that had to be done this week finished so taking a break from it today.
Tesco due later, no OOS and just one (in my favour) sub.  :)
Eggs for lunch, probably scrambled with veg or an omelette with salad.
    Usual Friday tbc for dinner,

It feels chillier today. I am about to make something to eat. I have a white roll to use up so I might have a tin of soup.

A bit grey and overcast this morning but improved as the day went on.

Bus trip into the city for coffee and a catch-up with an old work colleague, home in time for lunch which was a portion of soup from the freezer and a crusty bread roll.

Tonight I'm doing a chicken & broad bean risotto and no doubt there will be leftovers  ;)
