Volunteering in town today it was quite busy so I didn't get out lunchtime.  I needed to pick up a delivery from John Lewis on the way home (half price purchase ) so had a quick trip around Waitrose whilst there. I was on limited carpark and picked up some YS salad stuff for lunch tomorrow and some YS half price duck in plum sauce which will do for dinner tomorrow.

Salmon salad for lunch.  Last of the cottage pie and vegetables for dinner, it had matured well but after the third dinner I was glad to see the back of it 🙂

I have had a smoothie. I'm waiting for my groceries to arrive with the bread as I bought a new toastie maker. I'm going to make a toastie with vegan cheese, tomatoes, spinach and sun dried tomato pesto. :p

    Good afternoon everyone,
Grey, wet and on the cool side today though it's supposed to dry up a bit later.
Despite a lie in I'm feeling tired so a quiet day needed to recharge my batteries. Apart from routine chores there's nothing that must be done today.
Ham salad sandwich for lunch. Tonight it's spicy chicken burgers with coleslaw, corn cobette and air fried chips.

I cant say anymore than its grey here  :D

Picked up some nice cold meat and crusty rolls yesterday, so I've also had a sandwich lunch.

Good amount of yesterdays risotto leftover and rather than freeze it I'll happily have a repeat performance tonight with some grilled tomatoes on the side.

Domestic sort of a day here, grocery shopping, “useful” household shopping, and a cut and colour with new hairdresser 🙃

Posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch. Thai prawn curry with noodles and sugar snap peas tonight.

Bright & sunny start, supposed to be the beginning of a good, warm week ahead

Hope the toastie maker performed well, whenever I try the cheese always bubbles out down the sides and makes a mess  :(

    Lunch, cheese & salad sandwich
Dinner, use up last of the chicken, with LO mushrooms in some sort of chick & mushroom sauce thing. With nuked rice or HM mash depending how I feel later

The toaster was nice and the cheese didn't make a mess, luckily.

I'm out to have a pedicure today. It will probably mean that it will rain all of May now! I just had a strawberry yoghurt and will have some fruit before I leave.

    Good afternoon everyone,
The leaky, crunchy bits from a toastie are probably my favourite bit!
Showery but a tad brighter than yesterday.
I was very slothful yesterday though did make a pot of soup and prep two 600g bags of chopped root veg for the freezer using up the Easter SO veg.
Soup and salad for lunch. Tonight I'm heading to a local pub for dinner with DS2. my sis and my nephew.
