Sunny intervals and pleasantly warm to walk out and about today.

Caught up on a few domestic chores this morning, before I had an egg and roast tomato sandwich for lunch.

Dipped into the freezer for a portion of beef stroganoff for tonight which I'll have with boiled baby potatoes and ts broccoli.

It is quite warm and sunny today. I've done over 12,000 steps walking to and from my class. I had a toasted English muffin and a yoghurt this morning. I'm about to make some lunch.

Another lovely sunny day here so two loads of bedding washed and put out on the line. Unfortunately it rained briefly whilst I went swimming after work so had to come in a bit damp 🙄

Work took a while to get back into after a 4-day weekend, at least it’s another short week, and there’ll be another bank holiday along soon 🙃

Used up tomatoes, avocado and feta in a salad for lunch with some toasted sourdough. Portion of nutty sweet potato stew tonight. I’ve also made tomorrow’s packed lunch.

I went into town for a haircut late morning and resisted the fish and chip shop across the alley when 8 came out at noon 🫣

I went to M&S to return a pair of trousers because annoyingly although the same size as my current pair they were too big 🤨  their collections and returns system was down.  Luckily I could return them at the checkout, it seems they have been down since yesterday and the lovely lady who served me said they have been shouted at a lot 😕 by they time we finished I knew her son had been deployed on army exercise today and she was waiting for the birth of her first grandchild 🙂 I received a email from their CEO to say they were dealing with a cyber incident.

Cheese and coleslaw sandwich for lunch.

Sausage, scrambled egg, grilled tomato and toast for a lazy dinner

I had a green smoothie for breakfast as I ordered pizza last night. I have leftover veggie sausage rolls for lunch and I will make a salad as I have one and a half lettuces left!

A bit of fog first thing which lifted quickly, there is still a bit of a chilly breeze coming off the sea but otherwise nice and sunny out there.

Cheese and onion toastie for lunch.

Pork and mixed pepper stew in the SC for tonight, haven't quite decided on the sides yet but most likely boiled baby potatoes will feature as they are starting to sprout a bit.

Overnight & early rain, now drying out.

Asda delivery arrived, within time slot but later than usual time
Everything as ordered, including, and to my big surprise, the 8p veg & half price salmon Easter offers I included, :) Nice to see they still honour price item was ordered at.

Lunch, sausage sandwich. Trying new, cheapo, on offer, Asda bangers.
They tasted OK, just bland & nondescript, unlikely to buy again, but would be fine as Toads or Pigs

Dinner, portion up on offer salmon side, pan fry plus salad with one portion.
    Freeze the rest

    Good afternoon everyone,
Sunny and much more pleasant temperature wise than yesterday.
Good result on the Easter offers Farway! :)
Still working my way through the admin pile.
Family here for dinner, mainly to drop off or pick up pooches. Easy meal as I have one of big Lidl Greek style cheese and spinach whirls so will just make some Greek salad and baby roasties to have with it. LO pasta for lunch padded out with a tin of veg soup to give enough for us both,

Out and about today so took my lunchbox of orzo with pesto, mozzarella and sun soaked tomatoes 😋

Nipped to Lidl for a few bits when I got home so easy reheat tea of a portion of the nutty sweet potato stew and a toasted pitta.

I notIced that Ocado does the same they say if ordered by a certain date they honour the offer price,it's just how they deal with subs. They did email me after my shop and advise it was nearly £5 cheaper than if I shopped in Tesco. To be fair I shop on offer for all SMs 🙂

My new arm chair delivered today for after my hip operation, only a cheapish on sale one from Dunelm, they tell you the day between 7am-6pm but not the four hour slot until 8pm the night before and then again a hour before they are due to arrive. It came in a very large box and needed some minor assembly, the legs, back and wings which they hid zipped into the base. Easy enough to assemble but seems quite big or could be just getting use to it, i'll probably rehome when it's no longer required. Now just had a very large box to get rid of.

Cheese on toast for lunch with a side of coleslaw.  Cottage pie with savoy cabbage, wilted spinach and carrots for dinner and there are LOs
