I did think you had a stronger stomach Than me Caronc 😁 I had the same problem with a lovely celeriac soup I once made, one large bowl and I suffered for a couple of days, it too was binned! A shame as it tasted delicious

Hair cut day today  ✂️ ✂️ and for a change it stopped raining by the time I came out 🙂 I popped into M&S whilst in town and picked up some YS berries with my milk and small steak pie

Dropped my friends bags at the CS and have regretted carrying too much as it's jarred my hip

i made chicken soup for lunch with the stock I made yesterday 😋

salmon with new potatoes and veg for dinner

I'm having overnight oats with strawberries and sliced banana. Green tea. I have more tomato soup for lunch and I might make garlic mushrooms on toast too.

    Takeaway pizza tonight.

Dull, cold & grey. DGS is off to Athens with the school today, 60F & sunshine, lucky him.

Asda delivery arrived, all OK except subbed 6 large for 7 small bananas :)

Lunch, very tempting crumpets in the Asda delivery
Dinner, Brambling, the salmon & new spuds sounds like a good idea which I may just copy tonight

    Good morning everyone,
I'm usually fine with cabbage based soup but tend to use savoy cabbage or greens rather than white cabbage which I only had bought as I needed it for the Florida salad. I'll not be making that mistake again and offending soup has been binned! Tummy is more or less settled  today thankfully.
Cold and bright here today so I'm going to give the back windows a good scrub as they are coated in grime, sand and salt after the storm. The front are probably just as bad but they're a job for another day!
Shepherd's pie was all devoured so disappointingly no LOs for lunch. I think Brambling mentioned a cheese and grated carrot sandwich the other day, I've not had that combo for ages or come to think of it an egg or tuna mayo sandwich so lunch will be one of those options. Trying a new JO recipe from his Simple book tonight of pork served with a red pepper sauce and rice. We'll have it with baby corn and sugar snap peas.

Hope you enjoyed the salmon Farway

i have a thing against cooked white cabbage a memory of mum cooking it to death and my dad making us sit there until it was gone.  I don't mine it in coleslaw although I tend to use red cabbage and I love cooked red cabbage, ill also eat other cabbages 🤷‍♀️

My sister popped around for a cuppa this morning and said there had been a slight frost, TBH I hadn't noticed. It has drizzled on and off and was raining when I went out at 7pm

Chicken soup for lunch.  Mac n cheese with tenderstem broccoli and bacon for dinner

Blue sky & very cold, but it's sunshine  B) . Hope the sun keeps up, and I can get into the garden for a while to start removing the old, dead stuff.

Completely undecided on today's meals, but intrigued by cheese & grated carrot sandwich, by coincidence the fresh Asda carrots delivered yesterday look nice & tender ones, not the tree trunk I sometimes get

    Dinner, TBD

The same weather here, nice and sunny, but cold.

My meals will be exactly the same as yesterday! Overnight oats, soup and mushrooms on toast and leftover pizza.

    Good afternoon everyone,
Bright, sunny and cold here today.
What a difference washing the back windows has made. I couldn't believe how much muck the storm had deposited. I had to scrub, squeegee then repeat to get them half decent so was a job and a half! Consequently lunch yesterday was late a quick tin of soup with toast. Aiming for a cheese and carrot (with a bit of spring onion) sandwich for lunch today instead.
Spent a could chunk of the morning online dealing with some voluntary admin and sorting out tomorrow's Tesco order. Need to tackle some chores this afternoon and hopefully get some more admin done.
Sausages, various veg, beans and potatoes for dinner.

Dry, bright and cold here for the second day running 🌞

No CFOing yesterday (unless we count porridge) - out for lunch so just a smoked salmon sandwich with a glass of wine last night.

Braved a short time tidying in the garden today and also put some towels on the line - they needed finishing off in the dryer…

Beans with toast for lunch. Hoisin glazed tuna steak with gingery vegetable noodles tonight. Also had the last of the duck spring rolls from the freezer 😋

Chilly but nice day with a blue sky 🌞 although when I put the bin out at 8pm it looked like there may be a frost forming on the car.

popped out for petrol this morning at Sainsbury's and whilst there picked up milk, bananas, watercress and salad stuff as I'm volunteering Friday and Saturday and need lunches.

Afternoon spent doing finance admin after a call, need to make a couple of decisions but I'm currently dithering.

Chicken soup for lunch, last two portions have gone in the freezer.

lost track of time so a quick beans on toast dinner as I didn't want to cook
