It is a lovely day here. Very bright sunshine and blue sky.

I ate out last night and still feel quite full up so I have just had fruit and tea so far. I do have overnight oats in the fridge so I will have them for lunch.

    Good morning everyone,
The storm eased overnight ending with some spectacular thunder overhead just before 7am this morning. Only minor damage for us but lots of quite serious damage for others unfortunately.  I'm back on my roofer's "to do" list! Cold and bright today and I'll doubt we'll get the light snow forecast. More gales due tomorrow.
Fridge gravel for lunch and tonight we're off to my sister's to celebrate her birthday with an 80s style buffet. Cheese, pineapple and pickled onion "hedgehog" will be assembled this afternoon lol!

Woke up to a beautiful day, lovely blue sky 🙂

my sister was 'forest bathing' at Leonardslee this morning so I met her for lunch there afterwards and was told off for teasing her that it had involved swimming in a pond in the woods 😁 a lovely lunch which ended up three hours later with tea and cake 😋 so nothing planned got done this afternoon 🤷🏼‍♀️ the advantage of retirement tomorrow is another day

     No dinner required

    Forest bathing sounds nice.

I ate out again last night and it was delicious. I ended up going to Aldi afterwards as it was near the restaurant and bought far too much!

I had overnight oats again for breakfast with mango this time along with a chai latte. It isn't such a nice day today, although it isn't that cold.

    Good morning everyone,
Bitterly cold here but no snow or ice.
I had a great night with my family at my sister's though I think she'll be eating buffet food for a good few days!
Apart from a Tesco delivery later I've no real plans. Yesterday was a busy day so I'm looking forward to a quieter one today. DS2 is cooking tonight and trying out a new curry recipe - Cumin chicken curry. Fridge gravel for lunch.

Chilly air but otherwise quite a pleasant day out there.

Ham and cheese salad for lunch.

I've put a couple of chicken thighs in the slow cooker, they are quite large ones so will provide enough meat for today and tomorrow. Side dish for tonight will be some Greens with chilli soy dressing recipe - BBC Food

I just walked to the cashpoint and it is pretty chilly. It started raining almost as soon as I got home. I just had a sandwich for lunch with a hot cup of tea. I bought some vegan steaks so I am having one for dinner along with air fried wedges and carrots and the last of the kale.

Rain & sunshine mixture this morning, quite windy as well. The sort of weather you go for a walk & get drenched half way.

It's use up day today, with Asda delivery on Wednesday.
    Lunch, omelette
    Dinner, SC silverside + ???
