Touch of blue sky at long last, frosty start though. My cold thing is now a bit of a cough, feeling OK though, I'm sure a lot is down to dull dank weather, it's enough to drain anyone's ooomph. At least I fancied a bit more than toast for breakfast today, had fake Weetabix & a sliced bananaLunch. No more soup left, maybe beans or eggs on toast.Dinner, something TBD from the freezer

Good morning everyone,
I hope your oomph returns soon Farway, roll on Spring!
Some domestics and voluntary admin are the plans for today.
Grey, damp and cold here again today, I hate days when you need a lamp on all day.
I thoroughly enjoyed the haggis yesterday. There's enough LO to freeze to make Balmoral Chicken or similar in the future unless DS2 snaffles it for his lunch. Lunch for me will be a bowl of the veg, rice and lentil soup I made yesterday. Tonight it's refried bean wraps, DS2 made the beans yesterday so I'll just need to reheat them and make sides later.0 -
I've had a lazy day at home keeping cosy with lots of warm drinks on the go.
I was hoping to last another week before getting a "big shop" delivered but I'm running out of F&V so will have to be creative or do a small shop midweek.
More soup from the freezer for lunch and an easy re-heat of leftover stroganoff tonight, this time with rice and green beans.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

I just went to my second meditation class of the year. I only had fruit beforehand so my stomach started growling towards the end. I'm going to have a houmous salad sandwich now. I fancy orange juice so I might have to pop back out to the shop.0

Even though it was chilly I went out for a walk in the sunshine then set myself the not enjoyable but necessary task of sorting, filing and shredding paperwork, at least that's it done for a while.
Prawn salad pitta for lunch and a rummage in the freezer produced a cauliflower grill for tonight which I'll have with some stir fried veg.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
