No snow here at all, which I am glad about. It has been raining.
I had heated up leftovers from dinner for breakfast and I'm about to make a cup of tea. I'm feeling a bit chilly, but that is probably because I have washed my hair.

Not too bad a morning here but we are also forecast sleet showers this afternoon.
I've been reorganising a couple of cupboards this morning - herbal teabags all in one tin now rather than the separate boxes taking up too much room. Condiments, pickles and sauces sorted through and the "need to be used" moved to the front, I just need to decide what to do with them
Lentil soup and l/o crusty bread for lunch.
Roast chicken thigh and l/o peperonata pasta tonight.

we have had about 1 - 1.5 inches of snow last night before bed and then the rain washed it all away, it's been raining all night and all day and local FB reports some local roads flooded although not any buildings thankfully
Egg on toast for lunch. I roasted a chicken for dinner, didn't fancy roast potatoes so made mash, runner beans, broccoli, carrots, stuff balls from the freezer and roast parsnips. Plenty of LOsLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Only a few cm’s of snow here overnight, which started melting fairly early on, the temperature has increased steadily all day and it’s forecast to rain tonight.
Productive morning marinading tonight’s dinner and making Thai sweet potato soup for this week’s office lunches and the freezer stash. Braved the slush and went swimming before lunch of scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toasted bagel.
Easy afternoon, caught up with Wallace and Gromit finally.
Yummy dinner of Chinese pork belly slices, noodles and stir fried veg.0 -
Not a good start to the week, some atrocious weather and road conditions this morning. I think there have been RTC's on most of the main arterial routes and loads of school closures.
Not quite ready to do an online shop yet but will pop out to the local c00p and see what they have because I'm almost out of fresh veg, only got 2 brown onions left. I have the usual suspects in the freezer so used peas and sweetcorn in the lentil salad, other frozen veg being used with the meatloaf tonight.
Chicken leftovers with lentil salad for lunch.

I had two crumpets with PB this morning. It is rainy and miserable here. I just did an online grocery order for tomorrow.2025 GOALS

Good afternoon everyone,
We seemed to have avoided the wintry weather though very cold it was a bright, clear day. DS1 did rub it in by video calling from Athens where they were having lunch outside in a balmy 17C, though that's chilly by Greek standards lol!
Physio earlier to batter out the kinks, much needed but I'll suffer tomorrow.
Last night's pork, noodles and veg was lovely though I was a bit enthusiastic with the amount of noodles and veg I cooked so I had LOs for lunch rather than the lentil soup I made yesterday. Easy dinner tonight of lamb keema from the freezer.0 -
Cold, wet and very dark when I drove to work this morning. Hopefully drier and brighter, although still cold, the rest of the week.
Thai spiced sweet potato soup with toasted pitta for lunch. Made mushroom risotto tonight with fresh and dried mushrooms 😋, served with broccoli.0
