I thought I had a parcel arriving early so I got up and then realised the email said Wednesday. I just had a nectarine and two toasted crumpets with vegan butter. It looks frosty out there today.0

Good morning everyone,
Another cold but dry one here.
Yesterday I thought my sniffles hadn't really amounted to anything but they're back today and I'm feeling a tad grotty. Not unwell but not firing on all cylinders either. I've a few things I need to do today but I think a nap might be on the cards this afternoon. My sis is coming over for dinner but I'm just doing a simple Greek style chicken tray bake and salad so minimal effort needed. HM lentil soup for lunch.

Hoping you feel a little better Caronc I've also had the sniffles on and off all week and did sleep until 10 this morning, most unusual for me especially with the furry alarm clock. I've had a quiet day other than doing my washing I finished my book and watched silence witness
Chicken sandwich for lunch and more chicken for dinner with vegetables and noodles
I meant to make chicken stock today but forgot until dinner than cbaLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Dull and very frosty.May get snow or very cold rain later. If it snows, being well Dahn Sarf means more than two snowflakes and the schools close and buses stop running.Brambling said:Hoping you feel a little better Caronc I've also had the sniffles on and off all week and did sleep until 10 this morning, most unusual for me especially with the furry alarm clock.Sounds like you both have the thing that is “going round”, I have similar, not really ill, just not “right”, sudden sneezes and coughingAsda delivery arrived, two no shows, bananas of all things, and some on offer ice cream that I was going to try. I'm not an ice cream lover and rarely eat it, so no big loss TBHThe Easy Peelers citrus are tiny, but on offer, I'll not bother with those again.Lunch, last of the ham in a sarnie, with fresh tomato I thinkDinner, on offer small chicken with Asda delivery, so I'll roast it later and if the 30p Christmas veg is not pure compost I may use that up.

Good morning everyone,
Oh it's cold here today, still well below freezing and very frosty.
Sniffles are still lingering, no better but no worse either.
We have Ari today so the house is full of pooches. Both Ari and Frank cast constantly so I must have a sweep up as there are swathes of hair everywhere.
