Dull but dryMy Asda delivery arrived, nearly intact, a couple of subs but mainly OK, the best bit is the half price lamb & salmon side arrived, and look good. The leg is over 2Kg so that will give me plenty. I may try & joint it into half leg & some steaks before I cook it.In the meantime, it's gone into the freezer until nearer the day.The salmon side, looks like easily cut into four good fillets, which I'll do & freeze three and eat one freshLunch, use some freshly delivered mince in a burgerDinner, more mince in HM burger, eggs & HM AF chipsEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Good morning everyone,
I plan to get a couple of lamb legs this week to portion and freeze as we do like a roast lamb dinner. I bought salmon a few weeks ago on SO which DS2 skinned and portioned so they're already vac packed and frozen.
Cold, grey and damp here this morning with rain due this afternoon, it looks quite misty but it's actually fine drizzle the type that looks as though it's not raining but soaks you quite quickly.
Frank has just been told off for barking after a tiny blue t!t had the cheek to land on the deck railing. It's long gone but he decided to repel raiders in advance! He's pretending to be a sorry boy lol.
As suspected there are no sausage casserole LOs! There's a few baked spuds left as I decided to just cook a tray full while the oven was on so one of these with either cheese or tuna and some salad will be lunch. Chicken, pea and rice traybake for lunch.0 -
Another very frosty morning here thankfully it lifted by late morning.
My neighbour severely burnt her evening meal last night and rather than open her windows to get rid of the smoke/smell she opened her flat door and stunk up the hallway and the other flats in the buildingits a horrid acrid smell that keeps catching the back of my throat, so when I got up this morning despite the freezing cold temp I went and opened all the landing windows and wedged open the front door to try and get rid of the smell.
Large portion of broth from the freezer for lunch.
Halloumi & pepper stir fry with rice tonight.

Last of the spicy lentil and carrot soup for lunch with a toasted pitta. Need to decide what soup to make next, only have one portion of nana’s in the freezer 🤔
LO pork in cider and mustard mash tonight, with freshly cooked cabbage. Need to find things to use up the cabbage….cabbage soup anyone 😂😂😂0 -
What about bubble and squeak JKS or stir fried with onion, garlic and bacon
It's been a cold day but at least it's been dry 🙂 I spent the morning on a Teams call for volunteering then after lunch went around to my elderly friend to set up a direct debit for her, although I got several texts tonight after she deleted a email about it and she thinks I have to do it again, unless she has to validate via the email I think she is actually panicking over deleting a acknowledgement email but unless she can ask a neighbour to find and restore the email from trash (she can't see the delete folder) to put her mind at rest I could be going back tomorrow as she is getting in a muddle 🤨 I was out tonight and wouldn't go back
I did go into my Christmas online shop today and amended as I had added random stuff to make the £40 min order I will go back nearer the time to tweak but should I forget it wouldn't be the end ofthe world 😁

Good morning everyone,
Another damp and grey day here.
Home alone until the weekend so intend to crack on with some cleaning - so much easier without a cockapoo helping!
LO traybake for lunch. Something easy like beans on toast for dinner as I have an early evening meeting which starts too early for me to want to eat beforehand.0 -
Dull, wet & windy. A fine day for staying in & looking out.Hope it eases for tomorrow because I have to go out, chiropodist mainly, but I may pop into nearby Farm Foods that opened in the summer & I've yet to go in. Normally I'd go & mooch in Morries, and may yet do so.Lunch HM burgerDinner, fancy something warming & comfort food, savoury mince & mash?Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Got a bus early on this morning as I needed to go to @rgos to replace the canister for my "busy with the fizzy" machine. Also had a mooch around bm bargains and matalan before doing a small bread and veg shop in @sda.
Ham and tomato croissant for lunch.
Tonight its chicken curry, from freezer stock, a small naan bread, ts broccoli and some mango chutney.
