The boy did good Caronc 👏

Horrid day weather wise, I did go to volunteering but it was really quiet most of the day it seems they nearly didn't open but the forecast wind strengths weren't quite high enough.  I finished about a hour early but it was nice to drive home before it got dark especially in the rain.  I came home via my sisters' to help setup a new TV box to replace sky, she isn't very tech savvy (her words) and youngest nephew has inherited his mums genes! Oldest nephew would have had no problem with it but does lack patience with her 🙄 TBH it was really simple to do but she has a mental block over it

Ham sandwich for lunch with a piece of lemon drizzle.  Easy dinner of roast vegetable lasagna from the freezer

  • It is quite windy still, but feels much milder. I am having a smoothie in a minute after my shower.

Dull & very windy, with rain due around Noon, but it's mild at last, so even the heating remained off this morning. Every cloud & silver linings.

    Lunch, use up mushroom omelette
Dinner. Cold LO roast pork with LO mash &, maybe salad bits.

  • Temp is up here too but with the wind it still feels a bit chilly, sun shining so took the chance to hang out some washing probably wont completely dry but at least it will get a bit of an airing out there.

Black pudding and scrambled eggs for lunch.

SC pork belly in hoisin sauce, vegetable rice.

  • I walked to Coop and back and it is still very windy. I should have worn a hat as my hair was all over the place when I got in! It is quite mild and sunny, though. I saw someone near me has had their fence blown down. I bought some bread, salad and cookies. I had a vegan cheese and salad baguette and a cookie for brunch.

I haven't had my smoothie yet as I was waiting for the strawberries to defrost a bit.

    Good morning everyone,
Dry but very windy here today. It took DS2 almost 6 hours to get home, it usually takes just under 3.5 hours!
Poor Hector has a bit of a runny tum, I don't know if it's the same as Frank had or if he's just a bit out of sorts with his "Daddy" being away overnight. He seems okay in himself so hopefully a light diet for a couple of days will sort it out.
Another day for the house today, though I'll venture to the bin now the ice is away. Might make a start of tidying the freezers ready for festive food.
There's LO coleslaw so lunch with be a cheese and coleslaw wrap. Roast pork dinner tonight.

Haven’t left the house today - wet, windy, grey, miserable but strangely mild…all very odd.

Bed stripped and remade, dusting and hoovering, load of towels washed and mostly dried during the free electricity session (plus dishwasher run 🙃), made soup and a roast chicken dinner. Just need to clear up the kitchen after strictly results 😇

Scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast for lunch. Roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast carrots, green veg and gravy for dinner.

    .
That sums it up for here as well 😕 I've given up picking up my empty wheelie bins today.

I was due to go with my sister and the little one to Leonardlees Lights this evening to walk around the garden which has been lit up and they have rides, craft stalls and food stalls etc but they closed the garden 1pm yesterday until tomorrow because of the weather.  There were a 2 or 3 nights where members go free so they have assigned another evening for us on Thursday 🤞

Cheese on toast for lunch.  I went to my sister and nephew for a roast dinner little one and her mum were also there, little one sent three hours just playing with a very large box we just obeyed her orders, grandma has a room full of her toys  😁

  • I have woken up with a banging headache today. I have the hygienist this afternoon so I have taken some ibuprofen and hope it gets better later as sometimes I have pain after that as well.

I saw a recipe yesterday so I going to have a veggie chicken cutlet with lemon rice and garlic pak choi and broccoli for dinner tonight.

Bright, sunny, mild with a strong breeze, looking nicely Autumnal today

Boiler serviced for the year, needed a new gasket seal where old one had perished. At least all set for winter, hopefully.

Lunch, nuke a cheapo frozen RM, macaroni cheese
Dinner, last of the cold roast pork, with own, defrosted, mash + pickles
