Absolutely gorgeous weather here. Bright and sunny with a blue sky. I'm going to post a letter and then make a toastie when I get back.0

Blue skies 🙂
I had a hygienist appointment 12pm so parked at Sainsbury's and came back via my volunteering place to introduce myself to the supervisor and arrange to shadow someone as part of my training, unfortunately he was on compassionate leave. I had a quick trip around Sainsbury's I wish their half price lamb was half legs as well as whole onesI did think about buying a whole duck but cba to come home and break it down to freeze and I'm meant to be making space in the freezer
late lunch of a YS chicken and mushroom pastry AF when I unpacked the shopping. I did pick up a Chinese chicken curry RM which was on nectar offer which I had as a lazy dinnerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -

I much prefer this chilly and sunny weather. I haven't shaken off this lurgy as I was coughing last night. I slept in when I could drop off so I have only just had breakfast. Peanut butter on toasted sourdough.2025 GOALS

It's another lovely sunny day here too, I'm always much more productive when the sun is shining.
My delivery arrived all present and correct, but gosh almighty I've been given the largest butternut squash I've ever seenso my task this afternoon is to search out recipes I fancy making.
Baked beans and a poached egg on toast for lunch and tonight I'll have roast chicken, brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes.
Hope you feel better soon Wednesday.

Blue skies again today although we did have a slight shower around 4pm.
Volunteer meeting at Petworth House this afternoon, they have one every 6 months. A couple of hours of slides and tea and cake. Petrol is covered so I don't mind the journey. Not great timing I had a nose bleed walking up to the house from the car park it is about a 10 min walk (565 meters according to the sign post) luckily it stopped once I finished walking up to the ladies.
Early lunch of fruit and yoghurt. Easy dinner of jacket potato with tuna mayo and saladLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -

Good afternoon everyone,
I've been flattened with the most horrible respiratory infection though thankfully feeling a bit better now. Having a bit of the lurgy on Thursday (no better, no worse at bedtime) morphed into being really quite poorly come Friday morning. Dr's surgery were very good and I'd started a course of antibiotics by lunch time but's been a miserable few days. DS2 has been a star at looking after me. Definitely feel more civilised today, just need to get my appetite and energy back.0
