    Good morning everyone,
    Lovely photo Wednesday, enjoy Cornwall
Glad the appetite has returned Farway.
I bought a dehumidifier a few years ago and will replace when it dies. I use it most in the winter when the windows aren't open so much and it can pull a scary amount of water at times! Mine is a similar wattage but not nearly as noisy as my fridge more just a gentle hum and the odd quiet click when it turns itself on and off.
A cold one here with frost overnight and it was still -1C at 9am!
Domestics and admin today and I need to finalise tomorrow's Tesco order.
LO curry for lunch and JO's salmon in a bag with sweet potatoes and various veg.
  • Very cold here too last night, I woke in the early hours to find the heating on (thermostat set for 14c overnight) I wiped the condensation off the window otherwise it would have started trickling down the pane, before going back to bed.

Thanks for the dehumidifier info, I will start doing a bit of research as I cant be bothered constantly wiping down the windows and with tilt and turn windows they open way too far to have them open overnight.

Leftovers from fajita night with some couscous for lunch.

I have a few mushrooms left after using some in the stroganoff last night so I will blitz them and cook with butter and a shallot to make a duxelle type sauce to have with some filled pasta tonight.

Sunny now, after cloudy night. I was hoping to maybe spot Aurora last night but clouds, so no chance.

Not used the dehumidifier yet, all unpacked & it looks unobtrusive. I'm sure it'll get a try-out soon.

Lunch, grilled cheese on toast, + pickle
Dinner, YS breaded haddock fillet defrosting, with AF frozen chips + tin of mushy peas

    Good morning everyone,
    Drizzly and breezy here today.
Another day of admin and Tesco are due later but that's about the extent of my plans.
LO salmon for lunch and dinner will be the usual Friday tbc.
  • There was quite a show of the auroras here Farway, purples, pinks and greens and much clearer than the last time I saw them but then again it was a damn cold and clear night - pro and cons of living here but I wouldn't have it any other way :) .

Sunny and dry this morning so I jumped a bus to go to @ldi for a few bits and bobs sadly the rain started just as I got back home.

Wholemeal roll with lettuce, tomato and pesto for my lunch and I'll use up the other portion of stroganoff tonight with noodles and ss peas.

I forgot to post yesterday I went to the local theatre and meant to post when I got home.  I missed the auroras although local FB is full of pictures of them in town 🙄

quiet day other than picking up my meds and booking the CV jab for a elderly friend who didn't get the text from the doctors, she doesn't want it done with the flu jab so I'll have to do that later.  Her local chemist is the only one in town according to the NHS site, I know most of the surgeries are doing them over a couple of weekends but hers is now fully booked   The chemist was manic when I got there because of the jabs, it's only a small one outside of the town.

Omelette and tomato salad for lunch, chicken supreme with rice, courgette and broccoli for dinner

    Good morning everyone,
Cold and wet here with the odd brief burst of sunshine. It's supposed to clear later and turn frosty.
Plans today include swapping my summer duvet for a heavier one as even with an extra blanket I've not felt as cosy as I like in my bed the past couple of nights. If the rain stays off for a bit I hope to pick the final tomatoes and the green ones can ripen in the conservatory.
Dinner last night was "not quite coq au vin" and there's some LO for lunch. Chicken again tonight, this time wings with HM oven chips, corn cobettes and salad.

Back from my jabs, one in each arm.
Mine are done at my Doctors these days, very convenient & local, only a small surgery practice, a bit like things used to be, personal service where they know your name

Also picked up my prescription while out, and the rain started so dreary day for now

Lunch, toasted crumpets + cheese topping
Dinner, TBD. I have a bit of lamb I could roast, but may just settle for a salad if jabs start playing up

I'll be late tomorrow, of to see DS + family, which often results in food in a GC café

  • Wet and windy here though I think its supposed to improve slightly for the next couple of days.

Caught up on some chores this morning, had a fried egg softie for brunch and got a chicken curry going in the SC for tonight. I'll have it with some cauliflower rice, ss peas chutney and poppadum's on the side.

Most of ours was done by doctor surgerys as well but my friend didn't get the text and they were fully booked when she asked.  The small chemist near her is the only one on the NHS site and she can manage on her Walker.  Hope you're feeling ok after jabs.

intermittent rain today but I managed to pop to Lidl between the showers, going lunchtime meant I was able to park 🙂 I only needed a few bits as I'm working my way through my freezers before I sister asks me to store the turkey and bits.

LO chicken and vegetables for lunch.  Jacket potato with prawn mayonnaise and salad for dinner before Strictly
