  • Have a lovely break caronc 😊

Cold start this morning but then the temperature had gone up 10 degrees by the time I left the office. Busy, slightly chaotic day but managed to eat my Thai sweet potato soup and pitta while clearing a few emails. Glad I am wfh tomorrow.

Popped to Waitrose on the way home for milk and half price pizza express pizza 😋. Struck lucky with a YS mini pork joint with honey glaze so that’s gone in the freezer for an easy roast one weekend.

Made the prawn, red pepper and pea egg fried rice tonight (carried over from yesterday). Was nicely spicy and gingery.

Sunny here, but I'm suffering with a bad tum so mainly lolling about with access to loo.

No cooking or eating for today, I'll let my tum get back to normal

    Have a nice break Caron

I just went to the shop and back and it is sunny and warm. Lovely for October. :)

I didn't have any bread so I had cereal for breakfast and a salad for lunch. My friend wanted to go to the chip shop before the theatre tonight so that will be dinner!

Thanks, it's easing but not up to facing food or anything, just plain tap water
That breakfast was good value, always nice when you feel it was money well spent

    Lunch, sips of tap water
Dinner, more sips of tap water

Sorry to hear you are poorly Farway, you must have picked up more than shopping in Morries - hope you feel better soon.

Nice sunny day here so had a walk around the bay and through the farmers market to get some honey.

Lunch was the last piece of quiche from the freezer with coleslaw and pickled beetroot.

Tonight I'm having gammon, cauliflower cheese and ss peas.

  • Fairly lazy start to the day, although I did get a load of towels washed and out on the line before I went out to have my hair cut.

Had brunch of poached eggs on toast with mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. Made smoked basa with sweetcorn pilaf tonight, which is becoming a firm favourite - half of the pilaf has gone in the freezer 😉

I hope the water helped Farway, I found flat lemonade or tonic works for me I think it's the sugar

Beautiful day so typically I was volunteering indoors 🙄 it also meant we were really busy. After Petworth I came home via the doctors for my covid and flu jabs one in each arm and I'm achy tonight, muscle pain in legs rather than the hip.

I took cheese and biscuits for lunch as I forgot to sort lunch out last night.  Easy dinner of M&S beef pie with chips and peas
