Sun is creeping out after a dull start, I've already watered some pots out the front in anticipation of more hot weather.

Glad the gout cleared for you holiday Brambling, those C pills are good, if somewhat deadly :s
So far my dose seems fine, but I'll not hesitate should problems arise, gout is too painful to just sit tight

I was adding to my Asda list, corned beef is not a cheap option any more, is it?
Hardly surprising that people eat even more junk processed items.

I have loads of runner beans to pick today, hopefully enough for CFO and not a glut.
In anticipation of the runners, I've got a beef & mushroom stew thingy in the slow cooker for dinner

Lunch, fancying a sausage sarnie, I may pop a couple of frozen ones in the AF

    Good morning everyone,
Glad you had a good break Brambling and the gout settled quickly.
Yes corned beef is no longer a cheap option these days.
Sunny and windy here today though on the cool side. Fab drying weather. :)
Tesco arriving later but apart from that no real plans. Fridge bits for lunch. Creamy paprika pork tonight with veg and new potatoes.
  • I had a sandwich, a packet of Twiglets and the last of the grapes.

I will cook something for lunch. I have loads if veggies in the fridge.

Another catch up day for me including a couple of recorded items

LO new potatoes turned into potato salad and with a little LO salmon i had a salad for lunch.  I was going to have sweet n sour pork for dinner but changed my mind and had stir fried pork and vegetables with a chili and garlic sauce with sticky rice and pak choi

Had the first of my HG runners yesterday, very nice of course

Lunch, not sure, over the GC

I went through my pantry yesterday so I am trying to use things up. I'm going to make a veggie soup later as it is slightly cooler here. I am going to make a smoothie in a minute, strawberry, banana and spinach.

I made a veggie and noodle stir fry instead with hoisin sauce and gochujang sauce and lots of chilli and garlic. It was very nice and I have leftovers for tomorrow.

I am feeling quite a bit chillier. I might have to put my socks on!

Brrr a lot cooler here today, a high of 15c expected and rain on the way - its feeling very autumnal all of a sudden  :#

I'm feeling a bit off colour and not very hungry, there's some fruit that needed using so I've just had a picky fruit and cheese platter for lunch. Not sure about later see how I feel.

    Good afternoon everyone,
Last day of the school holidays here and it's cold, wet and windy.
Met up with a friend for a cuppa, scone and natter this morning, couldn't believe how busy all the coffee shops were!
Curry for us tonight, trying a new one "Black Pepper Chicken" we'll have it with rice and naan. I might make a yoghurt dip to have with it.
