My shopping deliver due tomorrow so used up a few odds and ends today.
Made a scone based roast pepper and pesto pizza and had half of it for lunch. Also cooked a batch of banana scones at the same time.
Tea tonight is using up some picky bits - salad stuff and hummus on crispbread.

Very hot and sweaty here earlier. I took advantage and cleaned all my sandals outside and left them to dry in the hot sun. The temps dropped about 5.30 and it feels much more bearable.
Takeaway pizza tonight from a local restaurant.0 -
Nice sunny day but not unbearably hot.
LO sweetcorn pilaf with added fried egg for lunch. It’s Tuesday so early tea of beans with toast before swimming. Had a white chocolate fake mini magnum when I got back 😉0 -
Good morning everyone,
Summer seems to have sort of returned though it's not that warming. According to forecast for one day only with rain again tomorrow.
Seemed to spend an awful long time on the phone yesterday dealing with some voluntary admin "to dos". At least I got what was needed done so not wasted time. More admin to tackle today.
LO curry for lunch. Tonight I making duck ramen, not had it for ages so looking forward to it.0 -
A bit of rain overnight, nothing worthwhile for the garden thoughIt was Asda delivery this morning, for once the non-available item was an important one, Milk!Luckily I've enough to last until I get out Friday when I can pop into the Co-op, I don't think I can face Farm Foods just for milk. The rain had soaked my two delivered quiches
, just the boxes were soggy, so had full refund on them :)Insides are OK for me to eat
Lunch, salad sarnie with salad creamDinner, I'm roasting a small, on offer, pork joint, so some of that with side saladEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I had some grapes for breakfast as I knew i would be eating out for lunch and dinner today. I had a full English vegan breakfast at a cafe and I'm feeling very full still.
I popped into Lidl as it is nearby and found quite a few bits for the freezer. I'm always amazed how affordable it is. It isn't sunny, but it feels muggy.2025 GOALS

I'm still in use up mode with cheese on toast, fruit and nibbles for lunch, leftover pizza and salad for tea tonight with a banana scone in between.
Shopping delivery arrived early afternoon so need to think about a planning/cook-in day tomorrow after I've been to the hairdresser.

Couple of showers here today and this evening, and a lot cooler as mostly overcast. Another busy day of meetings, don’t think it’s going to let up until I finish tomorrow but then I am off for a few days 🙌
Lentil, beetroot, brie and walnut salad for lunch. Chicken, red pepper and pea egg fried rice tonight - got the ginger and chilli spot on so was lush 😋0 -

Much cooler here too after being so humid yesterday. It feels nice in comparison.
Far too much eating out and takeaways the past two days so today will be all food from home and much healthier stuff. Toast and grapes for breakfast and a big salad with avocado 🥑 for lunch. I'm not sure about dinner yet.
