I still check my online banking as the first thing I do when I switch on my laptop and for some reason I got locked out. I called First Direct and they did resolve it very quickly as they have voice recognition.
I just ordered Tesco for tomorrow and so looked at what needs using up. I had mashed avocado on toast and a banana for breakfast with a cup of green tea. My bananas are starting to go mushy so I will cut them up and freeze them later as I can't stand that texture so I will only use them for smoothies.
Lunch and dinner will be half a pizza with salad and the leftover curry and rice. I'm not sure what order I will eat them in.0 -
Dull start, but supposed to be hot & humid later.Just in case that's true, I was out watering first thing. Spotted some beans ready & the first ripe berries of my new raspberry cane.I'll be picking lots of my blackberries later, before the birds & mould gets them.Lunch, last of the crumpets, with cheese toppingDinner, defrost a salmon fillet, live gout dangerously
, with salad & HM potato salad

Good afternoon everyone,
The sun is shiningthough there was a short, sharp shower a wee while ago. Forecast for the rest of the day and tomorrow looks decent though. The "kids" decided we'll have a bbq here tomorrow and my sis and nephew are coming along too. A full house for once which is good. Just need to decide what we are making and who is doing what.
There's a good few cherry toms ripe so I'll make good use of them and I'm still working my way through the cucumbers so they'll feature.
Ended up cooking some salmon and veg baked in foil for dinner. There's LOs so might make some salmon pate for lunch. Naan bread pizza for dinner.0 -
A day away for me yesterday to the City, had a pub lunch so not very hungry when I got back early evening - it was nice to eat out for a change but the portions were huge
Eventually picked up a copy of "Greekish" Caronc, and you are right there are loads of recipes in there that are worth trying out soon.
JKS, still haven't found a whole pomegranate fruit, appears SM's are continuing to add more plastic to our binseventually found a 220g carton of seeds so like you I divided into smaller portions and stuck in the freezer - annoyingly another bit of plastic to deal with.
Lunch was a cold meat, melon & pomegranate salad.
Picked up a new to me red skinned variety of potato (Alouette) from the green grocer, I'll try them for Boloungere potatoes with celeric tonight along with SC pork belly strips and stir fried cavelo nero.
