It feels very warm already in my garden. I am about to wash my hair and have a shower. I still haven't watched any of the Olympics.
I will probably have the two leftover rolls for breakfast. I don't feel that hungry as I had a PB sandwich just before bed last night.0 -

Good morning everyone,I have tomato envy, mine are many weeks away from ripening!Very overcast here but it's supposed to stay dry. :crossedFrank was so excited to see DS1 and DIL2B! We have Ari later but only for the one night. Not sure what I'll get up to today, the greenhouse plants are needing a bit of trimming and tying so might make a start on that.
LO lamb and hummus in a wrap with salad for lunch. DS2 is cooking tonight - Butter Chicken with rice and naan.0 -
I've been watching some of the Olympics, as usual @ndy murray had us on the edge of our seats last night and I've just watched the team take gold in eventing...Go GB
I'm having hummus for lunch too with some crispbread and grapes.
Tonight I need to use a courgette that's beginning to look a bit sad so to make it a completely meat-free Monday thought I would try this recipe Feta and harissa fritters - delicious. magazine (deliciousmagazine.co.uk) .

I think Andy does it on purpose, N2BT 😂
Another lovely warm, sunny day here but it hasn’t felt uncomfortable - the office was fine and the house had stayed cool with all the windows, blinds and curtains closed.
Sort of tuna Niçoise salad for lunch with added cold new potatoes. Made prawn, chorizo and sourdough skewers on the BBQ tonight, served with a salad and sherry vinegar dressing 😋0 -

I'm going to keep the curtains closed on the south facing side of the house today. I have to go for my cholesterol checkup test today around midday so it will probably be very hot. I can't remember if I am supposed to fast before this test, the form says non-fasting, but I thought cholesterol was fasting so I am only having water.
I was watching the cycling yesterday, but I missed the ending typically which apparently was very exciting! I know I am having pizza tonight as the local restaurant is celebrating being 4 years old so it is BOGOF.

I don't envy you those temperatures down south, we are a comfortable 19-20c with a gentle sea breeze so I'm happy.
I'm almost at the end of my "need to use" veg, I've made a rocket pesto which I'll have with some chicken and pasta for lunch. The last sweet potato has been baked and I'll make that into falafel, there's some leftover hummus, a pitta in the freezer and I'll do a tomato, red onion and radish salad.

Good afternoon everyone,
Another sunny one here though not too hot which suits me. Abandoned the idea of tidying the greenhouse yesterday it was just too warm in there, I'll see what it's like later. Do need to tackle some ironing though and sort out my monthly finances.
Fridge bits for lunch and fishfinger sandwiches with salad for dinner.0
