Horrid weather today especially this afternoon 17 degrees and heavy rain,We had the same this side of the border, soggy but bright & sunny this morningAt least the rain had done some good, my runners have flowers at last, no prizes for forecasting dinner in August / Sept
Lunch today, last of the crumpets, with more cheeseDinner, I have a S & K Pukka pie defrosting, that with mash and frozen veg, BUT I will have my solitary climbing French yellow bean with it.The only one so far, plenty of flowers though, so glut on the way I expect.Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I just went out to the charity shop and bought a summer dress for £3. I wanted to get some steps in so I hit 70,000 this week.
I just had a toasted muffin with mashed avocado and some candy floss grapes when I got in. I love those grapes! It is quite nice and sunny out. I just did the vacuuming and I'm about to do a load of laundry with the bed covers.

Good morning everyone,
Dry and sunny this morning but like yesterday rain is forecast for later. Hopefully today it wouldn't be accompanied by thunder and lightening. The pooches were not impressed.
Managed to catch up with admin yesterday so it's domestics today.
Fridge bits for lunch and usual Friday tbc dinner later.0 -
Another nice day so far but I think the thunder and rain is heading over from the west.
Good news is that one of the young gulls has managed to get back on the roof, its been flapping around the carpark for a few days and with the gardener going around with his strimmer and mower I think that pushed it to try a little harder. The runt is quite a bit smaller so may take a bit longer to get back up there.
Prawn salad pitta for lunch and the leftover roast veg will do nicely for a lasagne with half a garlic baguette from the freezer.

Lovely summer’s day here today - sunny, gentle breeze, not too hot.
Had a very productive wfh day, did everything I wanted/needed to 🙃
Ricotta and pesto tortellini with sweetcorn, prosciutto and sun dried tomatoes for lunch. Made a red pepper and spinach puff pastry tart tonight and had half of it with some of the beetroot salad. LOs for lunch tomorrow.
Anyone watch the olympics opening ceremony? Different…0 -
After yesterday's rain we are back to sunshine and washing drying weather 🌞
I haven't been out today other than pick up my meds which I was surprised were ready, I only ordered them late Wednesday afternoon and the surgery usually take four days and then the chemist up to three 🤷 not complaining TBH when I got the text I thought they had made a mistake!Pear and blue cheese with chicory for lunch. I cooked the second ostrich steak for dinner and made a raw vegetable salad with a Asian inspired dressingLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -

It's sunnier here today so feeling much warmer than the past couple of days, I'm not feeling very hungry at the moment but have defrosted a cheese scone and prepped a tomato, rocket and cucumber salad for later.
Havent had curry for ages and thought I would do a chicken katsu for tonight.

I had a mango and banana fruit salad for breakfast. I popped to Coop to buy some flowers.
I have taken 2 slices of bread out of the freezer and lunch will be a sandwich and a salad when it defrosts. I'm watching Gogglebox at the moment.2025 GOALS
