Early (for me) start to the day the local garden opens early on Wednesday for members, I met my sister and a mutual friend there at 8am for a couple of hours walk before a bacon roll for breakfast. I did manage to trip in the car park when we arrived luckily just bruised knees and pride, they climbed over a low rope and I was checking my bag handle and not paying attention 🙄 it was very sunny by the time we finished so late breakfast was outside

I have booked a reflexology session today. I worked out it has been over four weeks without a migraine which is good, but I thought I should still see her regularly.
I am going to have a smoothie and a toasted muffin with mashed avocado if they are ripe. If not maybe just jam or PB.0 -
Damp & drizzly, showers running up Channel it seems and sneaking ashore in places. DS has rain in Cornwall as well, but they're surfing so they're wet anyway.Ouch on the tumble Brambling, so easily done as I well know, tripped over in Dockyard a few years back, like you, just bruised pride & a hand

Very much pot luck for me, maybe helps that I'm not fussy about a bit of damage or brandsNeed2bthrifty said:Farway that's a great YS haul, you and Brambling always seem to get such good bargains, there's never any good reductions up here - lucky if we get 50p off.Easy option meals today, volunteers committee meeting this afternoon, so quick & easy is the need todayLunch, crumpets & cheeseDinner, from freezer once I'm back from meeting. Good morning everyone,
Dry here just now but we have thunder and lightening forecast and there are certainly very dark cloud over the bay.
Made a good dent in the admin so hoping for an equally productive day today though I need to finalise my Tesco order first.
LOs for lunch and gammon steaks with veg and roasted baby potatoes for dinner.0 -
My reflexology went well. I managed not to fall asleep.
I just made myself a delicious salad for lunch as it is warmer than I realised. I had some Squeaky Bean "steak" strips that I had with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions with some marinated artichokes and some sriracha mayo.2025 GOALS

Delurking having read the last three pages to tell the story of my trip to San Francisco last year.
We were due, on the 4th day of our trip, to go on the boat to see Alcatraz. I don't know if anyone has ever been on the tourist boat but they vary between open topped and covered.
The tourist boat we got on going to Alcatraz was late morning/early afternoon and was open topped.
About halfway to the island everyone is taking photos and staring/pointing...not due to Alcatraz but due to a seagull who was hovering above one lady - long story short after about 5 minutes of deciding what to snatch it stole her hat! 😳
So there you go...a seagull theft 🤣3 -
Another couple of busy work days and a lovely evening out with good food last night.
Cumin roasted aubergine, pomegranate, grain and brie salad for lunch both days. Tuna steak with Mediterranean lentils, spinach and sun dried tomatoes tonight.
Very glad it is Friday tomorrow 🙃0 -
But they can't eat that 😁 a work colleague once advised that the Heron Gulls in Eastbourne were nearly as big as his 3 year old twins after they were mugged on the sea front 🍟crazybunnylady4 said:

Horrid weather today especially this afternoon 17 degrees and heavy rain, I had a hospital appointment this afternoon and the M23 was not a nice drive! It's not my favourite drive and luckily not one I usually make that often.
Part bake baguette for an early lunch with LO smoked salmon and cream cheese. HM RM from the freezer for a easy dinner, spinach and ricotta cannelloni

I haven't had anything yet, but I'm hungry. I had a really good sleep after reflexology yesterday, almost 8 hours.2025 GOALS
