Brighter & sunnier than yesterday, hope it stays a while so I can have a potter in the garden. I need to tie in one of the blackberries and check on the cherry, see if any left to make it worthwhile covering over from the birds.Lunch, now I have some posh blue cheese I think a HM Ploughmans' style will do nicely, no crusty bread, but I've got the restDinner, one of the on offer trial frozen RM MFO, roast beef dinner sounds right for Sunday, doesn't it?Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

It still feels quite mild here. I am having a rare cup of (instant) coffee with soya milk.
I have the leftover rice and I was thinking of making a chickpea curry with coconut milk later.0 -
Starting to cloud over now but it was a lovely morning. I looked out about 6.00am to beautiful sunshine sparkling on a flat calm sea then much to my delight a small pod of dolphins swam around the bay as if to show off their baby - two adults broke the surface then a smaller one which flicked its tail as if to wave hello before they disappeared
Lunch is using a few picky bits - crispbread, blue cheese, grapes, olives and cucumber.
Put a couple of chicken thighs on to cook in the SC then I will do a chorizo fried rice and some asparagus to have with them.

Good morning everyone,
Trying to be sunny here so if it stays dry we'll try again to do some garden stuff after being rained off yesterday.
Pigs in blankets for our "roast" today. I always make extra at Christmas for us to have when we fancy during the year. I'm looking forward to them. We'll have them with Jersey Royals, tenderstem broccoli, carrots, green beans and gravy. Might make a YP if I've got time.
LO chicken & veg in a wrap for lunch.0 -

Another not particularly productive day but think I probably needed it. Gave the bathroom a quick swish and did kitchen and bathroom floors this morning before going for a swim.Houmous with pitta, salad, olives and cucumber sticks for lunch. Also prepped dinner and tomorrow’s packed lunch before watching the tennis, which took up most of the afternoon (did do the odd bits of ironing while watching 😉).
Roast chicken with celery and blue cheese gratin and new potatoes for dinner. Bit of a rubber chicken week this week 😋0 -
I have dolphin envy 🐬
Lunch out at family friends today including my sister and her brood, little one held court as usual. After lunch we sat in the garden and played games whilst the little one napped and then she watched us play.

Sprinkle of overnight rain, enough to wet the pavements but not enough to water the gardens, sunny with a breeze nowMeals today will be hit & miss, there is a Volunteers “do” this afternoon, I expect it'll be sausage rolls, cakes etc. so I'll skip lunch to leave space for themdepending on how the Do goes dinner will be wait & see, I have frozen MFO RM in the freezer and can choose from those, may even be Doggy bag LO from the Do.Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Brambling said:I have dolphin envy 🐬I know I'm very lucky. Last summer paddleboarders and kayakers often posted videos of dolphins swimming alongside them, that was really lovely to watch.
Yet again sunshine and showers and a particularly chilly breeze coming from the North. Went for a quick walk around the town stopping at the baker and greengrocer for essentials, then I'll start on my online shop this afternoon.
Lunch is leftover chicken in a sandwich with green olives, lettuce and mayo.
Tonight I'll have lamb kofta, flatbread, tzatziki & salad
