Dull & cool, I was hoping to get some broad beans planted, but maybe wait until it warms up a bit tomorrow

My compost & crumpets were on the door step when I got up, that worked anyway. Crumpets for breakfast. :)
Next trial is some Jersey Gold Top, just like the old days with cream on top of the milk.

Lunch, last of the use up rolls, cheese & sliced onion filling
Dinner, something salad with jacket spud

Oops I forgot to post yesterday, had a busier than normal day and got somewhat distracted - domestic chores, batch cooking, shopping delivery and reorganising the freezer.

Lunch today was some l/o daal, chutney and poppadum's.
Tonight stuffed portobello mushrooms and asparagus

I went walking around the local garden this morning with my sister as a member in June they have been opening at 7am on Wednesday.we did leave it until 8am 🙂 they then started breaking their cafe at 9am so a very nice bacon and egg bap for breakfast 😋 with a lot of thick bacon 🙂 and filling enough to skip lunch.  Warm enough to sit outside in a tee shirt to eat it.  Although by earlier afternoon I had put on a cardi in doors

Pasta for dinner with a roast tomato and pepper sauce and a sprinkle of grated cheese

I had a pineapple, lemon and banana smoothie and a slice of toast with Flora. I'm meeting someone from this forum for a walk today. I hope the weather stays dry as the BBC was wrong the other day about the time of the rain!

    Good morning everyone,
    Dull and drizzly here today.
I've a load of admin both personal and voluntary stuff so will try and make a dent in that but first I need to finalise tomorrow's Tesco order.
LOs for lunch. Pasta for dinner tonight with HM lamb and feta meatballs and  tomato sauce from the freezer so a nice easy one.

It's a lovely sunny day here but still a chill in the air. I jumped a bus into the City early on because an item I had ordered click & collect from £akeland had finally arrived, 8 days it took....8 days!! what's that about, stuff coming from NZ takes less time.

Also went on the lookout for a pair of sandals, what a price....but I liked them and they reminded me of a pair I wore back in the 70's B)  but not as high a wedge as we wore back then

Very hungry when I got home so made a quick cheese on toast for lunch and tonight I'm going to try out a new to me veggie recipe for a chickpea and pomegranate curry

  • Still chilly and drizzly here, wore a bright top with my black trousers today in an effort to feel summery.

Not sure where today went at work…

More tricolore couscous for lunch and easy tuna, green bean and pesto pasta tonight.
