I saw that there was a seal at Southend-on-Sea recently.

I had toast and a yoghurt for breakfast. I haven't had lunch yet but I might have spaghetti as I bought some pasta tongs the other day. I had a bowl of pistachios which filled me up.

  • Sunshine and showers here, some very heavy showers 🙄

Had a good day in the office with quite a lot achieved, which is always nice.

Salad with chicken, roast peppers and butter beans for lunch. Easy tea of cold roast chicken, reheated celery gratin and LO potatoes turned into mini roasties 😋

Sunshine and rain here too, definitely colder than yesterday.  I went into town this afternoon in a T shirt enjoying the sun on the walk from car to post office and got wet when I came out 🙄 at least my work laptop has now left the house

For awhile I thought my neighbours were moving which I wasn't happy about but it was just a board advertising the local school fete 😁 the estate agent is sponsoring it.  I had to casually go out to the car and rummage in the boot so I could read it as it was at the wrong angle to read from up stairs window.  I wouldn't want people to think I was nosy 🧐

I used up half a tin of beans and had beans on toast for lunch.  Smoked haddock kedgeree for dinner

I just had some wholemeal bread with Flora. I have my hair appointment today. I thought it was supposed to rain today, but it looks quite nice out at the moment. Oh, it is meant to be thundery showers later, I just checked the BBC.

I am going to bring a cereal bar with me when I go out and maybe have a banana as well.

Cooler but sunny spells. I was hoping to potter in the garden but too chilly right now.

I've got “office work” stuff to catch up on, pay bills, check statements etc, all online just needs a Roundtoit.

Furthermore, I'm just going to experiment with a Milk & More delivery, see how it goes, dearer of course but no minimum order & delivery is built in the price. Tomorrow is my first, bag of compost & pack of crumpets. The crumpets are price marched so same price as Asda, compost about same price a GC, without a broken back for me.

Lunch, use up stale rolls, with cheese & onion filling
Dinner, use up mushroom omelette, with salad

    Good morning everyone,
No dolphins here but we do get lots of seals at the harbour and rocks and the odd pod of porpoises in the bay.
AWOL yesterday, the day just ran away from me. I had my monthly physio session and then a committee meeting in the evening. Physio was particularly brutal this time so I'm very tender today. I've some actions from the meeting but they can wait until I feel more like sitting at the computer for a while.
Still no sign of summer returning, it's cold and grey today again.
My sis is coming for dinner - good old pasta bake. I cooked the ragu on Sunday so just need to boil some pasta and make bechamel later. We'll have it with salad and garlic bread. Fridge bits or soup from the freezer for lunch.

    That pasta bake sounds good.

I wasn't that hungry earlier, but now I am. I don't know what happened to the rain. I did 15,000 steps today and it is quite hot out.

  • Decidedly chilly and drizzly here today 😕

Didn’t know Milk & More did compost, Farway - useful if delivery included.

Busy day with all sorts of stuff to sort out in between meetings, mainly because of other people not doing stuff properly…

Tortellini with tuna, sweetcorn and sun dried tomatoes for lunch. Made chicken and chorizo jambalaya tonight, had some with some rocket tonight and there’s another portion gone in the freezer. I’ve also done two days of packed lunches as the rest of the week is also busy.

Chilly and wet here as well ☔️ unfortunately it helps the weeds to grow.  Other than some greenhouse pottering no gardening done and I got wet running in after a heavy storm at the wrong moment

LO kedgeree for lunch.  I had a piece of sirloin form the freezer for dinner with AF chips and veg.  It was a expensive Waitrose meat counter piece of steak brought at less than quarter of the price as they were closing the counter one night, unfortunately it was very nice and very tender the good stuff is ruining me for the cheaper stuff but I refuse to pay full price as it's £45 a kilo!

It feels chilly here today. I'm about to have a hot bath. My husband has just left for London to have his final work meeting and clear out his locker. :)

I'm not sure what to have for breakfast... I think I will have a cup of Yorkshire tea with it, though.
