Good afternoon everyone,
Commiserations re the spills Brambling and Farway.
Yep, laces and chopsticks will be deployed as well Brambling, I only intend to secure a few so hopefully there will be enough openable to satisfy her urge to ransack!
It's a cold, wet and generally dreich here BUT my new dishwasher has arrived. DS2 will sort it out later. They arrived just before8 so an early start for me so I nipped back to bed for a bit after it had be delivered and surprised myself by falling into a deep sleep for a couple of hours!
Last night's egg & tofu dish was lovely but the tofu wasn't really needed, especially with the sides I'd added. I did have to improvise a bit with the peanut/chilli sauce but my concoction worked well and wasn't too fierce. I ended up making another batch of the carrot, courgette, coriander and cannellini bean soup so more of that for lunch today. I'm my bid to continue exploring fresh tuna recipes I'm trying this tonight Tuna with a chilli and caper marinade | Tesco Real Food though it will be griddled inside rather bbq. I'll make AF crispy potatoes and various steamed veg to have with it.

Just a day really, brightened up enough to get some sheets dried on the line. Work was worked, slightly less frustrating day than yesterday 🙃
Piece of broccoli quiche with baked beans and bread and butter for lunch. The blueberry muffin left from office day on Friday was still ok so had that with a cuppa before going swimming. Prawn and sugar snap thai red curry with noodles tonight.

I needed to go into town today, EF has asked for a bank statement and I needed more milk. I wandered around for a couple of hours without buying anything other than milk, bananas and butter (I had a 70p off voucher from Waitrose for their own butter making it 1.30) luckily it held off raining until I was in the car, just a hour long shower.
One of my sisters called for a hour chat this afternoon, she currently has no landline and doesnt turn on her mobile 🙄 they still have puppy house training issues 💩!
I wanted a cinnamon bun but the Swedish cafe was closed for a family birthday so lunch was blue cheese, fig and walnut salad.
LO spaghetti bolognese for dinner
