Good morning everyone,
I think you're right Brambling, he's still protesting today but not as vigorously!
Tipping it down here so a good day for domestics and admin.
LO pasta for lunch today. Cottage pie tonight, the base and mash are both from the freezer so just assembly and side veg to sort out later.0 -
I walked to Coop today to buy lemons, cotton wool and moisturiser. I had baked beans on toast when I got home. I always forget how much I like that! I ate quite late so I will just have snacks before dinner.
I didn't make the stir fry yet so I will do that tonight with tofu and noodles or rice.
It is quite nice and mild again.0 -
Usual Wednesday morning offsite meetings but I did get an afternoon working from home and even crossed a couple of bits off the to do list 🙃
Had toasted pitta, houmous, tuna, roasted peppers, cucumber and tomatoes for lunch. Been swimming tonight and had tuna steak with Mediterranean lentils, spinach and roasted peppers when I got home.
Glad to have Masterchef back on the telly 😀0 -
Is it me or have they condensed masterchef? I thought they had the two cooks and the cook for ex contestants on another show. Still glad to have it back

Sun & showers here, and I “pulled” my back lugging compost yesterday, so nothing strenuous for the day ahead.
Snap, just what I had once I decided I CBA to sort out anything. And I also enjoyed it.Wednesday2000 said:I walked to Coop today to buy lemons, cotton wool and moisturiser. Good morning everyone,
Still to catch up on Masterchef.
It started off gloriously sunny first thing but is clouding over now and decidedly chilly. Still looks the best day for next week so after I've sorted out tomorrow's Tesco order I intend to make the most of it and sow my tomato and cucumber seeds. Thankfully the "wonky donkey" seems to have retreated.
LO cottage pie for lunch and Thai green chicken and veg curry for dinner.

I think you’re right on Masterchef Brambling, the cooking for previous finalists round seems very early. Only two episodes behind caronc!
Office day today and got loads done as it was strangely quiet.
Another portion of celery and Stilton soup from the freezer for lunch (surely we’re nearly at the end of soup season 😬). Just made a quick prawn and pea pilaf, needed a bit more garam masala for me…0 -
Reasonably quiet at work so several items on the to do list ticked off
quick trip around Sainsbury's after work for a few fresh bits although I managed to forget berries which I like on my breakfast typically I don't even have any frozen in at the moment 🙄
Soupy noodles for lunch one portion in the freezer and the last for lunch tomorrow. Jacket potato with tuna mayo and salad for dinnerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Weather is undecided between wet & windy or sunshine and windy.
Once work stops, plenty of garden berry pottering time. I've recently planted two Autumn raspberry varieties from Morries in past few weeks, should give me a few for breakfast sprinkling:Brambling said:quick trip around Sainsbury's after work for a few fresh bits although I managed to forget berries which I like on my breakfast typically I don't even have any frozen in at the moment 🙄Lunch, sausage clear-out from the freezer, lunch is vegetarian ones in a sarnieDinner, pork sausages, with mash & cabbage etc.All sausages defrosting as I typeNumerus non sum0
