    Good afternoon everyone
Dry and sunnyish here this morning. I must start thinking about seeds and annual plants. I'm having some more garden work done this year to make the garden more enclosed and reduce the scope for pooches escaping so I'll not be going overboard especially as Hector still seems to have a penchant for plant destruction!

Not a nice day this end of the country, very grey and dark this morning. There is still a chilly wind so not pleasant to walk about for too long. That said the nice folk at dvla have promptly refunded my road tax so I popped up to the bank to pay it in.

Decided to have a bit of a cooking session when I returned and have done a pie for tonight, using this recipe Butternut squash and blue cheese pies recipe | delicious. magazine (deliciousmagazine.co.uk) there was enough for two portions so one will go in the freezer.

Also did a pork stroganoff for another day, no particular recipe just my own throw together in order to make use of the tub of creme fraiche.

There is still half the b/nut squash left so may do a soup this afternoon if I can be bothered.

I feel very full up from breakfast. It is such a nice day that I went out for a walk. I looked to see if the new bakery was open yet, but the man was doing work and said it would be open on the 16th. Then I went through the park to get bread from Coop for later as I got half a tub of houmous out of the freezer. I will have that for dinner with some grapes afterwards. I'm too full up to eat lunch.

I did have half a protein drink which filled me up a lot too. I don't like the taste of them, though. Very chalky.

  • Bit milder here today and I think I saw the sun for a bit. Three meetings today so not much chance to enjoy it.

Another veggie pitta pizza with coleslaw and salad for lunch. Been swimming tonight and just knocked up a prawn, red pepper and pea egg fried rice for dinner 😋

You send the rain across the border Farway but not the sun 🥺 Ibadan 8am appointment this morning the other side of the town and there was ice on my windscreen and thick fog which turned to rain by late morning

Two almost back to back meetings meant I grabbed some cheese and biscuits with an apple for lunch to eat on the go. Quick dinner before I went out of scampi, chips and sweetcorn

    Blue sky but chill breeze.

I've run out of fresh or chilled food apart from spuds, loads of frozen though, oh, and I have plenty of salad, but it's a not ideal weather for that
At least the second attempt at a loaf in my bread maker worked, so guess it was just a glitch, maybe I left yeast out in error, or not enough water? Anyway, back to normal now

Lunch, now I have bread perhaps a salad sarnie
Dinner, still have some LO chilli, so seems likely candidate.

    Good morning everyone,
I'm glad attempt 2 worked out okay Farway.
My sis got a surprise yesterday and ended up being interviewed by Heart Radio about her book. They are doing a segment for World Book today this afternoon and it will go out then. Thinking it was only radio she didn't do her hair or make up but they might also show some pictures on their website. We've got Ari today and the fame doesn't seem to be going to his head!
HM soup from the freezer for lunch. Pasta with a tomato, veg and chorizo sauce for dinner.

Another cloudy day again, but not feeling too cold.

I couldn’t be bothered making soup yesterday so froze the peeled and chopped veg all ready for another day.

Lunch today was a tin of tuna mixed with chopped cucumber, olives, spring onion, dressed with mayo and cider vinegar then piled on lettuce cups, plenty leftover to stuff a pitta tomorrow.

Tonight its pork stroganoff, brown rice and ss peas.

Blue sky, sunny and on a promise of a warm day ahead, supposed to be a warm wind coming up from the continent

A job I must do is finalise the Asda shopping list for next week delivery

Lunch, grilled tinned sardines on toast
Dinner, if it does warm up some sort of salad I think
