Cooler start again but the sun came out this afternoon along with showers and a breeze - had a refreshing walk after work 😅
Spinach and ricotta tortellini with tuna, sweetcorn and sun dried tomatoes for lunch. Prawn and broccoli thai red curry with noodles tonight.

A wet day and quite a cool morning, at least his lordship came in and hid upstairs. I left the plaster after lunch for a bookshop team meeting TBH to dust is making me chesty, he has washed the dining room floor before leaving as that is now finished but everything downstairs has a layer of dust.
Scrambled eggs on toast for lunch.
Pork and apple burger with corn on the corn and wedges for dinner

Good morning everyone,
Chilly but dry and bright. The stove did get lit last night and unless we get an Indian Summer that will probably be the case each evening until next May!
CFO from tonight for a few days as DS2 is taking pooches to Glasgow then tomorrow heading to see friends in Cornwall. Fridge gravel for lunch. Dinner is tbc, I have a bit of a sniffy cold so I'll see what tempts me later as I'm not feeling hugely hungry. That said I was the same last night but ended up thoroughly enjoying and eating all of my dinner.

Cool but sunny start.
The W8rose delivery arrived intact, sort of, no free mag but I only ever flick through it anyway because the recipes are not really ones I would cook, so no loss.
That's going to be a very long drive for DS2 Caron, I know most is motorway but it will get tiring. Or is he going to fly down?
Lunch, last cheese toastie, use stale bread,
Dinner, with eh delivery I now have large posh fish fingers, so those, plus a few chips + side salad

He's driving Farway but stopping 1/2 way overnight. Flying is a pain he'd need to go via Dublin!

It was horrible weather yesterday! Really rainy. I went out for lunch and had a vegan burger and some padron peppers.
I had overnight oats for breakfast and then had went out to have a wonderful massage! I was talking to a woman who walked out looking equally relaxed and she said she is usually a massage therapist herself but she thought she deserved a treat.
I bought some mustard and mayo yesterday from a local refill shop so I'm just going to have a sandwich and a salad for lunch.
I might make a curry later to use up the vegetables in the fridge and freeze the leftovers as I'm going away for the weekend.

I’ve had a few difficult days but I'm back on track now. Like Farway I’ve been doing a bit of homework on savings accounts and home insurance so that's all sorted for another year.
I had my big online shop delivered yesterday so there’s plenty of choice. Most of the meats have been portioned and put in the freezer apart from one lamb leg steak, there were two in the pack but one was a bit of a hatchet job and only fit for braising.
Lunch is the last two m&s spanakopita pastries from the freezer with tzatziki, rocket and tomatoes.
Dinner is a lamb dhansak curry with cauliflower rice.

Hope you're OK N2BT.
Nice enough day to get a load dried on the line this afternoon. Other than that, another busy work day so not much else except dishwasher emptying.
Kept it simple with food with smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with some cherry tomatoes for lunch, and broccoli and pesto pasta with salmon tonight. Lots of salmon 😋 😅

I'm glad things are back on track N2BT
The plasterer finished about 4pm and I'm left with just a chair and TV in the lounge, fighting over the chair with His Lordship! He doesn't like the disruption, things aren't were they should be. The guy did a good job, which should hopefully be dry for the decorators on Monday and then it will be more upset for the cat, it may cost me more chicken. I shall be damp dusting tomorrow as it's everywhere and upsetting my asthma but worth it!
I to need to look at my accounts etc to see if it's in the best places, too much chaos to have a clear brain for it!
Egg and cress sandwich for lunch.
I got a free pizza from Tesco as it was Thursday 🤷🏼♀️ and froze half which I had for dinner to night with salad and coleslaw

Cool but sunny start, and supposed to warm up a bit, so hopefully OK for windows open to dry plaster & clear dust Brambling.
He's driving Farway but stopping 1/2 way overnight. Flying is a pain he'd need to go via Dublin! Wise move for halfway stop, we used to break around Stafford area, but that was mainly for the overnight security of our load, not us. [RAF Stafford]
Finished the financial bits, but need to pop out & post it off. Goodness knows why ISA stuff has to be on paper & ink signed in this day & age. I have heard some banks even send cheques out to a new ISA provider. Possibly tax laws not yet caught up?
Lunch, trying one of the lamb burgers. There are 4 in pack so some will be frozen
Dinner, Could be another lamb burger + side salad
