    Good morning,

Very wet and blowy here this morning. Supposed to ease a bit this afternoon so will hold off doing the bin run etc. in the hope it dries up a bit.

Friday tidy and Tesco delivery on the cards and I want to give the fridge a sort out and wipe down. We seem to have gathered rather a lot of open bottles and jars again….

Hugh F-W dish was lovely though I had to tweak it a bit as my cauliflower ended up being rather small so I added a tin of chickpeas to the bake which worked really well. LOs for lunch. Dinner will be usual Friday tbc, I've half a notion for a cheat's ramen if I CBA otherwise it will be an oven bung in.

Proper rain & wind this morning when i went to get the feet done, turning brighter now.

The aches from the tumble are easing, my knee is the worst, not painful just annoying, but did resort to another pain killer last night when it was keeping me awake

Brambling Mushroom stroganoff and rice with broccoli for dinner. great minds! I was thinking about Stroganoff and wanting one. I've added mushrooms to my next Asda order, plus cheat pack of mix.

    Lunch, another salad sandwich

Dinner, TBD, could be fish finger centred. I thought I had some frozen fish but seems not, there is a Tuna steak but don't fancy that right now

A week of ups and downs for me - disappointments include the fancy sausage I used for the pasta dish midweek, not much taste to it so I won't be buying that one again. Secondly, aldi’s buffalo mozzarella was not that great and to be honest I’d happily pay the extra money and get the burrata as it was lovely. The good news is I’ve delivered one suitcase full of bric-a-brac to the Charity shop and I’ll hopefully get started on the clothing cull over the weekend.

Lunch today is a portion of soup from my freezer stash.

I’m bowling at 5pm so for dinner I’ll prep a lasagna using a portion of the lentil & mushroom ragu from the freezer as well as half a hm garlic baguette so they are ready to go in the oven when I get back.

Not too much CFOing for a couple of days - Wednesday was rinse and repeat houmous etc lunch and then out for tea, yesterday I got lunch at a work meeting then was out early evening so quick and easy sausage and spinach gnocchi for a late tea.

Another work day whizzed past in a flurry of things that needed sorting, really hoping for some dedicated time on tasks that need proper concentration next week. Rainy, grey start then brightened up but got quite windy this afternoon.

Spinach and ricotta tortellini tuna, sweetcorn and sun dried tomatoes for lunch. Chickpea, red pepper and chorizo stew with hake and a green salad tonight. Portion of stew going in the freezer 😋

I spent the day carrying a lot of stuff upstairs, I'm glad it's not that hot anymore 😁 I can't move anything else out so they're have to work around it.

Strange light tonight at sunset, very pink and very pretty.

I've managed toget bitten again,I noticed it yesterday on my arm but it's grewing in size about 2 inch circumference and very itchy, I'll get the cream out again, His lordship has been search and isn't guilty.

LO spinach and feta filo spiral with salad for lunch.

Chicken and orzo traybake with veg for dinner

Forecast is warm & sunny for most of the weekend, which meant I was out watering first thing, needed despite the recent rain.

I missed that sunset Brambling, how annoying. I have to draw the curtains because the sun shines directly into my eyes as it goes down

Lunch, use up mushrooms + use up eggs in an omelette

Dinner, something plus salad. Maybe time to defrost the tuna steak?
